Situations, where the rescue team cannot act immediately due to lack of the information pertaining to the existence of lives trapped in remains, urge an expeditious need of some technology/tool/device triggering an alarm and thus revealing the existence of living beings ambushed in the affected area. Certain devices already exist, but the extremely high cost of the devices refrain many countries to buy it and use during the catastrophe. As per NDMA (national disaster management authority), there is not a single registered technology in the country that can easily be implemented in small towns and villages to deal with such critical situations. So as a step forward, this paper is aimed at constructing a cost effective handy autonomous robot for sensing and recognizing human beings caught in calamitous situations, having ability to steer itself on uneven terrains independently of user control and avoiding obstacles coming its way, by building a predictive model to recognize images by imparting training using open source machine learning framework.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115837454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm also finds the nearest vector and corresponding distribution if the given vector is non-entropic. The utility of the algorithm for entropy optimization has been shown. A trade-off between entropy functions is observed. The convergence is better in comparison to the other algorithms used in the entropy region. Finally, the time and space complexities have been computed.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132485837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They help in nourishing the atmosphere with diverse elements. Plants are also a substantial element in regulating carbon emission and climate change. But in the past, we have destroyed them without hesitation. For the reason that not only we have lost a number of species located in them, but also a severe result has also been encountered in the form of climate change. However, if we choose to give them time and space, plants have an astonishing ability to recover and re-cloth the earth with varied plants and species that we have, so recently, stormed. Therefore, a contribution has been made in this article towards the study of plant growth and its management. Twelve economically and environmentally beneficial plants have been selected for this purpose. Leaf images of these plants in healthy and unhealthy conditions have been acquired and alienated among two separate classes. We have collected about 4503 images of which contain 2278 images of healthy leaf and 2225 images of the diseased leaf. Further, we hope that this study can be beneficial for researchers and academicians in developing methods for plant identification, plant classification, plant growth monitoring, leaf disease diagnosis, etc. Finally, the anticipated impression is towards a better understanding of the plants to be planted and their appropriate management.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130469873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are multiple technologies to provide safety, security & ease of access to cars, commercial vehicle, and public transportation services. Current technologies have been developed with private and commercial vehicles like cars and trucks because of the ease of access and bigger market shares. But there is no advancement in the safety, security, and ease of use of a motorcycle, even though the motorcycle market is great and big in some Asian countries, only a few it-enabled services and technologies have been developed for the safety of a motorcycle rider and those which have been developed are in-vehicle systems. Many it enabled technologies and services that have been or are being developed for other classes of vehicles, still, there is a requirement for the development of IT technologies for motorcycles, similar to the need for innovation for other modes of transport, motorcycle has a problem when it comes to implementation of any system, especially if it has not been designed for a motorcycle. This system provides rider safety along with multiple features which are not available on any other helmet available in the market using the benefits provided by the internet of things which helps in additional features other than the main purpose of a motorcycle helmet that is safety. The proposed model revolves around the rider's safety whilst providing ease of access and comfort. The helmet consists of a power module, a BLE for nearby detection, a geographical positioning system, a display system that does not interfere with the view of the wearer and an audio interface for audio communication and voice commands.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133338934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have tried to bring together concepts of hardware and software engineering to give an end consumer product which can replace the current manner of attendance marking. This project also utilizes the fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT) for data transfer, storage and display. The system can be interpreted based on it's hardware and software aspects. The hardware section consists of a pod, which is a portable device that can be circulated among students in the classroom. It features an LCD screen that displays various functional options and a, which can scan, store and identify student fingerprints. The identified fingerprint ID is then stored in memory and is made ready for transfer. The data is then sent to the database on a web server where the Database Management System (DBMS) updates the attendance tables accordingly. This database can be downloaded or viewed by the respective faculty.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"205 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115440097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With IoT it is capable to communicate with system device and to use the device data for controlling monitoring and protecting it. Here the paper presents design and development of online power consumption monitoring by loads from a distribution transformer using IoT. Apart from this, the monitoring system detects faults in distribution transformer by verifying and maintaining records of the following parameter of the transformer like the current drawn, input voltage available to the load transformer. The above parameters are sensed using sensors which are then preprocessed as per the controller analog input requirements. Accordingly, the controller processes the parameters as per the embedded algorithm. The output from the controller is then sent to IoT server for analyzing through user friendly GUI and graphs.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115004815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In today's fast-paced life, recommender systems are gaining a lot of attention because they can assist people in finding information about a product that they like. In the literature, no system till date is available for suggesting people how to save their money and also help in deciding if they are buying the right product. FrecS, the algorithm presented in this paper introduces a Collaborative Filtering (CF) approach, which is a technique used for generating high quality and accurate recommendations for the user. CF uses a subset of users who are called neighborhood users to get filtered recommendations for the current user. Moreover, this system utilizes the technique of simple heuristics to provide results, which in turn assist the user in getting a better recommendation without giving much details about them, which also helps them in securing their privacy. Online evaluation and the recommender technique is the basis of the empirical assessment in this system.","PeriodicalId":124412,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116458210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
