The availability of green space is important to know the percentage of the area and its distribution because it can be related to the environmental comfort index. This study aims to analyze the availability of green space, environmental comfort index, and the relationship between the availability of green space and the comfort index. The main data obtained from Landsat 8 imagery and measurement results. Then the data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively to measure the percentage area of green space based on the NDVI value, the comfort index based on the THI value and linear regression analysis between the two variables. The results obtained indicate that the availability of green space is 50.84% of the area of Singaraja City which is spread in suburban areas. Most of the comfort levels are categorized as uncomfortable, especially in downtown areas and only a few areas that are categorized as comfortable or comfortable enough are scattered in suburban areas. This is due to the compaction of buildings and activities in the downtown area. The two variables show a significant level of relationship (R2) which is quite strong, which is 0.6299, but it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study related to other factors that also affect the comfort level of the city. This research is important to do and provide information in addressing urban problems comprehensively.","PeriodicalId":123487,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Law, Social Sciences, and Education, ICLSSE 2021, 09 September 2021, Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116837607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to evaluate the suitability of land use with the Buleleng Regency Spatial Plan 2013-2033. The method used to evaluate the level of suitability of land use is by comparing the actual land use with the Regional Spatial Plan so that the level of conformity can be seen, referring to the Attachment to the Regulation of the Director General of Land Rehabilitation and Social Forestry No. P.04/V-Set/2009. Determination of the function area is done by adding up the scores of the determinants of the function area, namely soil type, rainfall, and soil sensitivity to erosion. The amount of the score is the score for determining the function of the area. The criteria are protected function areas (A) if the score is 175, buffer function areas (B) if the score is 125 -174, areas with annual plant cultivation functions (C) if the score is 124, areas with annual crop cultivation functions (D) if the maximum score is 124 and micro land has a slope of not more than 8%. Determination of area functions also refers to the Attachment to the Regulation of the Director General of RLPS Number: P.04/V-Set/2009 dated March 5, 2009. Evaluation of the suitability of land use and area functions with the Spatial Plan of Buleleng Regency will provide an illustration of how far the level of suitability/incompatibility of actual land use with the Spatial Plan of Buleleng Regency 2013-2033 so that it can be a reference for land use planning and area conservation. The results showed that the Buleleng district was dominated by protected areas (A), buffer areas (B) and cultivation areas (C). If we look at its suitability with the regional spatial plan, the existing land use shows a sufficient suitability.","PeriodicalId":123487,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Law, Social Sciences, and Education, ICLSSE 2021, 09 September 2021, Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115017272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The global Covid-19 pandemic is practically concentrated in urban areas. However, in some cases, this global virus has also spread in rural areas. As the capital city of Bali Province, Denpasar City represents urban areas, and its suburbs represent rural areas. There is a difference in the number of cases between the two regions, but it is not known whether there is a difference in mitigation between them. This study aims to analyze the differences in the implementation of Covid-19 mitigation between rural and urban areas. This research is exploratory research with in-depth interviews to collect data from key informants, and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results show differences in the implementation of Covid-19 mitigation between urban and rural areas, both structural and non-structural mitigation. In structural mitigation, urban areas look more competent than rural areas. Meanwhile, in non-structural mitigation, urban areas appear to be more regulation-oriented than rural areas. The difference in mitigation has implications for the vulnerability of the region in the spread of Covid-19 cases.","PeriodicalId":123487,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Law, Social Sciences, and Education, ICLSSE 2021, 09 September 2021, Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130509874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Active sensors use Sentinel 1-A and RGB composites as a drought detection approach combined with vegetative indices. The passive sensors use Landsat 8 OLI/TIR with the TVDI method and emphasize the surface temperature and vegetation index. The results showed that active sensors with RGB Composites could distinguish drought conditions even with conspicuous residential areas. Whereas passive sensors with TVDI clearly show the propagation of drought. The TVDI itself is performed by knowing the relationship between surface temperature and vegetation index where the results indicate a high association of 0.99 and 0.97. It suggests that the 1-A sentry still needs a unique algorithm to identify droughts compared to Landsat.","PeriodicalId":123487,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Law, Social Sciences, and Education, ICLSSE 2021, 09 September 2021, Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114658026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
