The data was collected through a survey, completed by direct observation in the field and interviews with the respondents. The applied data analysis includes analysis of costs, revenues, income and business feasibility. The results showed the average revenue earned from amplang processing business is Rp. 7.040,000 per month or Rp. 70.400,000 per year, while the average cost of Rp. 4.623.167 per month or Rp. 46.238.333/year. The average income was found as much as Rp. 2.416.167/month or Rp. 24,161,667 / year. The value of the balance of revenue and cost (R/C) in the business of processing amplang is 1.54, which means that the amplang processing business is able to provide a gain of 1.54 of the cost. There are two pattern of marketing channel that were identified in the field, the first pattern is: amplang producer to retailer to consumer; and the second pattern is: amplang producer to consumer directly.","PeriodicalId":123293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmu Perikanan Tropis Nusantara (Nusantara Tropical Fisheries Science Journal)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127077427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To minimize risk, it is necessary to the management of fishing operations. Due to limited capital and fish resources, the goal of fishing operations management is to minimize operating costs and maximize capture catches. However, understanding the strategy of fishing operations is rarely understood and considered less important. To understand the strategy of fishing operations, a study has been conducted in Muara Angke, Jakarta. The aims of this study are to analyze the constraints of fishing operations and adaptation strategies which developed by fishermen trap in fishing operations. The results suggest that there are three major constraints faced by the fishing traps in the arrest operation, namely climate, fishing season and venture capital. In response to the constraints and issues, the fisherman traps are still carried out regular fishing strategy.","PeriodicalId":123293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmu Perikanan Tropis Nusantara (Nusantara Tropical Fisheries Science Journal)","volume":"25 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114037165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the trophic level it acts as bridging energy from phytoplankton to fish juvenile. Meanwhile research on this plankton is considerably lacking. This study is aimed to test culturing cladocera in the laboratory. Cladocera and phytoplankton were collected from Lutan Lake-Palangkaraya and the transported to the laboratory. Three fish water tank were used to culture cladocera for 5-week testing. The results indicate that there was fluctuation in average number of individual during culturing period. However the trendlines show increase in average number of individual, this increase was relatively consistent with the increase in average number of phytoplankton. Two week culturing period was identified as the most optimal period for culturing cladocera.","PeriodicalId":123293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmu Perikanan Tropis Nusantara (Nusantara Tropical Fisheries Science Journal)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122079180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is necessary to study on the potential of fish resources in each region, so that in addition to provide opportunities to pursue economic activity in the capture sector greater, as well as to look for ways to anticipate the negative impacts of coastal and marine resource use such as avoiding physical and biological degradation. Purpose of this study was to determine the status of utilization of fish resources in the 4 districts and its adjacent waters, in order to evaluate and planning, especially about fishing, fish species and management (zoning). Study approach through field surveys and laboratory analysis (ex situ), and approach literature from civil institutions and research results for secondary data. The waters highest productivity in the waters of Teluk Pandan district with the potential density stocks of 59.169 kgs/km2, crustaceans 4,344 kgs/km2 and molluscs 297 kgs/km2, while the most minimal of fish stocks in the area Bengalon District (22.557 kg/km2).
