The nonlinear transfer characteristics of LEDs are not identical. But the transfer effect of an LED can be modeled as a linear transfer range with the maximum and minimum forward voltages. Therefore, the signal will be truncated when the signal amplitude is larger than the maximum limit or smaller than the minimum limit. The advanced A-law companding algorithm can concentrate the signal amplitude to the limited linear transfer range and decrease the truncation distortion. We evaluate the performance of the proposed advanced A-law companding algorithm comparing with typical A-law and uncompanded schemes via simulations in the direct current biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) system. The core of power communication networks security is context-aware data processing. With continuously extending in scale of the power communication networks, power communication data process become more complicated. In order to realize automatization of data processing of the power communication networks, this paper proposed a Context-aware Data Processing Model in power communication networks (CDPM). In this three-layer architecture, a Distributed Database Based on Data Categorization (DDB-DC) is designed in storage layer, which is able to choose the most efficient approach to store the context-aware data from the gathering layer according to different context-aware data types. Then, a Real-time Feature Extraction algorithm (RFE) for context-aware systems is presented in the computing layer to process the context-aware data stream. When multiple antennas are equipped at the user equipments (UEs), the radio access units (RAUs) can use the block diagonalization (BD) precoding to improve the system performance. However, the mismatches of the radio frequency (RF) circuits at both sides of the links make the whole communication channels non-symmetric in practical systems. And it may be not enough to only perform calibration at the RAUs. In this paper, we focus on the RF mismatches at the UEs for the large-scale distributed MIMO systems with BD precoding. According to the theoretical analysis and simulation results, we find that the RF mismatches at the UEs still lead to a negligible performance loss although the partial calibration has been performed at the RAUs. The presented IGC codes which consists of multiple groups with multiple subsets and each subset is a Z-complementary codes. For the novel IGC code, its cross-correlation function (CCF) between any two codes of different subsets in the same groups have a wider zero correlation zone (ZCZ) than that of any two codes in the same subset and its CCF between any two codes of different groups are zeros everywhere. IGC codes based code division multiple access (CDMA) systems may perform better on bit error rates than conventional codes based traditional interference-limited CDMA systems. However, the channel reciprocity is often disabled by the non-symmetric transceiver radio frequency (RF) circuits at both sides of the link. This paper is focused on the reciprocity calibration for the distributed large-scale MIMO systems where both access points (APs) and user equipments (UEs) have multiple antennas. Theoretical analysis show that RF mismatches at the UEs still bring the inter-stream interference (ISI) and lead to a significant performance loss, although with the perfect partial calibration. Fortunately, a new technology, three-dimension multiple-input multiple-output (3D-MIMO), with a large number of active antennas equipped in a 2D planar array, has been shown significant potential in improving system capacity. A problem is that with the number of antennas increasing, the complexity of the conventional multi-user (MU) precoding algorithms increase rapidly. To cope with this problem, a two-step 3D MU-MIMO precoding scheme is proposed to suppress the interference not only in horizontal but also in vertical domain in this paper. Meanwhile, considering the strong correlations of channel matrices in vertical dimension for different users, we adopt chordal distance-based user selection algorithm to find the users with correlations of the vertical antennas' channels as low as possible for the first step precoding. In this paper, we propose a joint power and subcarrier allocation algorithm to maximize secrecy rate. Specifically, we propose an iterative scheme to allocate transmit power for each subcarrier under the transmit power constraint. Furthermore, we propose two auction-based algorithms, i.e. Frist-price Sealed-bid Auction and Flexible-language Combinatorial Auction, to allocate the subcarrier among multiusers. Finally, simulation results are provided to indicate that the First-price Sealed-bid Auction has a better performance in improving the system secrecy rate while the Flexible-language Combinatorial Auction reflects more fairness among users in the subcarrier distribution.
