This research aims to assess the nutritional and WSC content of various forages as indicators and considerations in making silage. The research used a completely randomized design with 5 treatments with 4 replications. Regarding the treatment of forage types, namely A = elephant grass; B = Gama Umami; C= Mexican Grass; D= Odot grass; D = Indigofera beans. The research parameters are crude protein (%), crude fat (%), dry matter (%), ash, crude fiber (%), water-soluble carbohydrates (%), and NDF and ADF content (%). The results showed that different types of forage had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the nutritional value and WSC content. The research conclusion was that Indigofera legumes and odot grass had the highest WSC content, namely 4.59% and 4.49%. Tebon jagung diinokulasi dengan probiotik Heryakipowder sebanyak0,5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas nutrisi seperti CP dan CF berbeda nyata pada semua perlakuan dimana hasil terbaik pada lama ensilase 28 hari dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 13,78% dan 20,89%. Dalam rangka peningkatan susu sapi, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis pola penyediaan dan rantai pasok HPT pada peternak sapi perah di Jawa Barat, yang merupakan salah satu daerah sentra sapi perah di Indonesia. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Bandung, Garut, Bogor, Kuningan dan Subang yang merupakan sentra sapi perah di Jawa Barat pada bulan Mei–Oktober 2022 dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penentuan responden menggunakan Purposive Sampling untuk peternak dan snowball sampling untuk pedagang perantara dan produsen. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner terbuka dan wawancara langsung kepada 165 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber penyediaan HPT yang digunakan dalam rantai pasok HPT di Jawa Barat banyak berasal dari lahan sendiri, lahan hutan/DAS/lain-lain, beli dan sewa, sedangkan jenis HPT yang banyak digunakan adalah rumput gajah, rumput alam/campuran dan jerami padi. Database dirancang berdasarkan artikel yang diterbitkan dengan melaporkan penggunaan dedak padi dalam ransum domba. Artikel dipilih secara ketat sesuai dengan protokol PRISMA. Database terdiri dari 13 artikel penelitian dengan 27 respon penggunaan dedak padi terhadap pertambahan bobot badan domba. Parameter yang diamati dari data terebut adalah level penggunaan dedak padi, jenis hijauan yang digunakan, proporsi konsentrat dan hijauan dalam ransum terhadap pertambahan bobot badan domba. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan dedak padi dalam konsentrat dapat meningkatkan performa domba terutama parameter pertambahan bobot badan. Penggunaan dedak padi dalam konsentrat menghasilkan kisaran pertambahan bobot badan 74,76-147,11 gram/ekor/hari. Penggunaan berbagai jenis hijauan dikombinasikan dengan konsentrat yang mengandung dedak padi menghasilkan kisaran pertambahan bobot badan 52,36-154,1 gram/ekor/hari. The study took place over a four-months, utilizing secondary data provided by the Artificial Insemination Centter (AIC) Lembang for the year 2021. The data used included number and breeds of bull, forage types , forage quality, concentrate quality, hay quality, dry matter consumption, protein consumption, and total digestible nutrients (TDN) consumption. The data were recorded monthly and accumulated to provide an average value for the one-year research period. The dry matter consumption of each feed type including both forage and concentrate, served as the basis for determining protein and TDN consumption.The Bull breeds were divided into two groups: large-type bull and small-middle-type bull. The data analysis results showed that the average dry matter consumption of forage and concentrate were 75.10% and 24.90%, respectively, for the large-type cattle and 76.49% and 23.51%, respectively, for the small-middle-type cattle. The total dry matter consumption was 1.16% of body weight for the large-type and 1.55% of body weight for the small-middle-type. The protein consumption for large-type and small-type cattle was 1760 g/head/day and 1520 g/head/day, respectively. These protein consumption values exceeded the NRC (National Research Council) standards by 32.12% and 40.29% for large-type and small-middle-type cattle, respectively. The TDN consumption for large-type and small-middle-type cattle was 7570 g/head/day and 6600 g/head/day, respectively. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan meliputi P0 (1 kg kulit singkong + 1% EM4 + 3% molases), P1 (1 kg kulit singkong + 1% MOL1 + 3% molases), P2 (1 kg kulit singkong + 1% MOL2 + 3% molases), P3 (1 kg kulit singkong + 1% MOL3 + 3% molases). Data dianalisis menggunakan analylis of variance (ANOVA). Fermentasi anaerob kulit singkong dengan penambahan berbagai biostarter MOL memberikan hasil yang berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap nilai KcBK, nilai KcBO dan nilai pH cairan rumen secara in vitro. Nilai rerata pada P0, P1, P2, dan P3 masing-masing untuk KcBK adalah 60,38%; 59,43%; 54,94%; 54,41%; untuk KcBO adalah 64,03%; 63,23%; 58,78%; 58,69%; dan untuk pH cairan rumen adalah 6,71; 6,62; 6,58; 6,63. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penggunakan berbagai biostarter MOL dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan biostarter komersil EM4 dalam proses fermentasi kulit singkong. Kata kunci: fermentasi kulit singkong, MOL   ABSTRACT The study aims to identify the Digestibility of Dry Matter (KcBK), Organic Matter Digestibility (KcBO) values, and rumen pH values tested in vitro in anaerobic fermentation of cassava peels with Indigenous Microorganisms (MOL) biostarter from different growth media. This study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications including P0 (1 kg of cassava peel + 1% EM4 + 3% molasses), P1 (1 kg of cassava peel + 1% IMO1 + 3% molasses), P2 (1 kg of cassava peel + 1% IMO2 + 3% molasses), P3 (1 kg of cassava peel + 1% IMO3 + 3% molasses). The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Anaerobic fermentation of cassava peels with the addition of various IMO biostarters gave not significantly different results (P>0.05) on KcBK values, KcBO values, and rumen fluid pH values in vitro. The average scores at P0, P1, P2, and P3 for KcBK were 60.38%; 59.43%; 54.94%; 54.41%; for KcBO were 64.03%; 63.23%; 58.78%; 58.69%; and for rumen fluid pH were 6.71; 6.62; 6.58; 6,63. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola tersarang. Terdiri dari faktor A yaitu dosis inokulum dan faktor B yaitu lama fermentasi. Perlakuan terdiri atas dosis inokulum Bacillus subtilis (D1: 2,5%, D2: 5%, dan D3: 7,5% v/b tepung bulu ayam) dan lama fermentasi (L1: 1 hari, L2: 3 hari dan L3: 5 hari) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Data hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan metode sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis inokulum dan lama fermentasi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan bahan organik tepung bulu ayam, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan protein kasar, serat kasar dan lemak kasar tepung bulu ayam. Dosis inokulum Bacillus subtilis 5% dan lama fermentasi 3 hari menghasilkan kandungan bahan organik dan protein kasar terbaik yaitu 98,17% dan 85,23% (D2L2). Penelitian ini berfokus pada kriteria SNI untuk pakan ayam broiler, khususnya SNI 8173-1:2022 untuk fase pra-starter, SNI 8173-2:2022 untuk fase starter, dan SNI 8173-3:2022 untuk fase finisher. Dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari pengujian pakan yang dilakukan di tiga laboratorium, penelitian ini mengkaji parameter-parameter termasuk kadar air, abu, lemak kasar, serat kasar, protein kasar, kalsium, fosfor, aflatoksin, lisin, dan metionin. Analisis kesesuaian parameter-parameter ini dengan standar SNI dilakukan berdasarkan wilayah produsen pakan dan laboratorium pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil analisis untuk setiap parameter uji sesuai dengan SNI. Namun, ada parameter uji dengan sampel yang tidak sesuai dengan SNI, yang mencakup proporsi tertinggi (10% dari total sampel). Parameter-parameter ini adalah metionin dan lisin. Ketika dikategorikan berdasarkan wilayah produsen, beberapa parameter uji menunjukkan tingkat ketidaksesuaian melebihi 10% dari total sampel dalam wilayah masing-masing. Secara khusus, parameter-parameter ini mencakup protein kasar asal finisher dari Sulawesi Selatan, lemak kasar pra-starter dari Lampung, serat kasar pra-starter dari Kalimantan, kalsium finisher dari Jawa Timur, aflatoksin starter dari Jawa Timur, lisin starter dari Sumatera Barat, dan metionin pra-starter dari Kalimantan. Selain itu, evaluasi berdasarkan laboratorium pengujian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa parameter uji tertentu memiliki tingkat ketidaksesuaian melebihi 10% dari total sampel laboratorium. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bahan sumber omega 3 pada media pertumbuhan larva BSF memberikan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap produksi larva BSF, kandungan lemak kasar dan bilangan iod tepung maggot, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kandungan bahan kering dan protein kasar tepung maggot. Kandungan lemak kasar tepung maggot lebih tinggi pada media pertumbuhan dengan tambahan krokot dan minyak ikan, namun bilangan iod sangat signifikan tinggi pada tepung maggot yang dihasilkan dengan media pertumbuhan dengan penambahan tanaman krokot. This research was design with experimental method using Completely Randomized Design   with 2 treatmens and 9 replications. The observed of P1 = irradiation method with the sunlight for  12 hours and P2 = irradiation method with  LED grow light 7. watt for  16 hours. Parameters observed were biomass fresh weight,  leaf and root dry weight Data were analyzed using of two samples Independent T-tes.
