The review of works in the field of stability in technical systems is made. When analyzing feature of complicated systems' sustainability, it is proposed to take into account the laws of the open system theory. The idea of using the laws that allow to estimate the degree of manifestation of entropic and negentropic tendencies in a system, the law emergence and the law of the additivity) is discussed. Proposed the quantitative estimates based on the information theory of A.A. Denisov. Authors obtained the initial heating function; implemented mathematical modeling of the process under various conditions, carried out the analysis of the obtained results. Authors developed hardware and software system in Pascal programming language using the obtained controller. The system enables to model the behavior of temperature fields in the isotropic rod.
