His election as a polemarch may allude to events that took place in Boeotia in the fourth century B.C. This allusion represents a clear anachronism against the background of the mythographer’s tales. The anachronism is related to the narrative development of the section to which it belongs: the reference to polemarchy, by stressing the difference between the legitimate sovereignty of the Cadmeians and the illegitimate sovereignty of Lycus, Zethus and Amphion, contributes to the compositional plan conceived by ps. Apollodorus, which consists of genealogical continuity. Therefore, the anachronism can be considered as the result of a choice of the author and reveals that the mythographers played also a role in the iteration between mythical time and historical past that we can find in their works.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":"87 1","pages":"285-304"},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47412724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its aim is to study this kind of conflictual interactions from a pragmatic perspective, and to compare tragic quarrels with quarrels in Roman Comedy and Novel, object of a previous study. The theoretical approach situated in the realm of im/politeness theories allows to describe the linguistic forms used in quarrels, and provides a coherent framework to study impoliteness in Latin, delineating patterns of behaviour through different literary genres across a wide time span. This paper offers a further step in this direction.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":"87 1","pages":"255-283"},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45938494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

De acuerdo con nuestro análisis, που no se usa como una partícula de modalidad epistémica, sino que esos valores son más propios de un operador de aproximación en el decir y de atenuación. Esta explicación casa mejor con los demás usos reconocidos para la partícula y, como veremos, permite entender los supuestos usos modales de forma más consistente.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46128474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

III 3.73-76) comienza con el adverbio hic, una posición que atrae inmediatamente la atención sobre la deixis. El hecho de tratarse de una inscripción no real sino literaria determina el análisis de este aspecto tanto en este caso como en otros epitafios de poetas elegíacos; pero Ovidio complica la cuestión atribuyendo a este texto tres situaciones enunciativas distintas: la de un epitafio que figuraría exento en su futuro monumento funerario; la de la carta desde el exilio que dirige a su esposa, donde le comunica sus disposiciones fúnebres; y la de un poema dentro de un libro dirigido a su lector. El solapamiento de las tres situaciones multiplica las posibilidades de identificar los referentes de los deícticos. El resultado es la comprobación de que probablemente Ovidio explotó esta multirreferencialidad, lo que, además de mostrar su sofisticación, refuerza el carácter metapoético del epitafio.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45016306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El conocimiento superficial y la naturaleza de las mismas hacen suponer que la recepción de Pitágoras y el pitagorismo en el occidente tardoantiguo era limitado y procedía más de una lectura de fuentes indirectas (biógrafos griegos o autores latinos, por ejemplo) que de la lectura de textos de esa escuela filosófica. Por lo demás, esas referencias suelen ser de contenidos éticos bien conocidos, con frecuencia asimilables a los del estoicismo.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48906337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El presente trabajo trata de rastrear la historia de uno y otro término y someter a crítica algunos de los tratamientos modernos de que han sido objeto. Tradicionalmente, se ha considerado como primera aparición de la denominación σύμφωνα para designar al conjunto de las que hoy llamamos consonantes la que muestra la Τέχνη γραμματική atribuida al filólogo alejandrino Dionisio Tracio (siglo II a. C.), cuya autenticidad, sin embargo, es, cuando menos, sospechosa para la moderna crítica. Por su parte, el término latino consonans está acreditado por primera vez en Quintiliano, a finales del siglo I d.
