We have studied the case of a public Algerian company “Mobilis”, in order to highlight its assets and constraints to the implementation of competitive intelligence's practices. Actually, our national companies performing in both the public and the private sectors must regenerate their strategic management. Thus, requires, in the era of the information based business, a permanent appropriation and exploitation of pertinent information with a view to create competitive advantages. However, that cannot be reached without setting and exploiting a coherent process, affecting the competitiveness of the whole company, which we qualify as the competitive intelligence.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123926558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dealing with the same subject, we treat the security aspects of m-business. The security is considered as a major importance in the electronic world, and the security became a key factor for the success of the mobile activity. The success of m-business will depend on the security strategy end-to-end which minimizes the risks at an acceptable level for companies and users. In this article, we propose the requirements of security (the challenges), the attenuation strategies (possible solutions) and the stages of the security of m-business architecture.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114637474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Building corporate memories for conserving and sharing knowledge has become a rather common practice. However, the researches in knowledge management focus mainly on the process of creation, of capitalization, and of transfer of knowledge. Researchers are also centered on the establishment of the process of knowledge management in companies, but little about interaction between the knowledge management process and the risk management process. In this paper, we propose a new approach to integration of the knowledge management process represented by the GAMETH method in the risk management process. CI enables the development of strategies that confer companies a significant competitive advantage. The appropriate decisions are taken when all required data are considered. As the amount of data grows very fast inside and outside of an enterprise, exploiting these mountains of data efficiently became a crucial need. Note that such data are usually multiples, heterogeneous, autonomous and distributed. The main issue is related to the identification and resolution of structural and semantic heterogeneity between data, usually spread in multiple sources. Data integration is a significant solution that addresses these problems. Data Warehouse (DW) is viewed as Data Integration System (DIS) that consolidates several data sources in the same target repository through an Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process. In a decisional context, DW is a relevant solution to aggregate a huge amount of data and organizing them in order to facilitate their analysis and support decision making. In this paper, we propose an approach for designing Semantic Data Warehouse (SDW) to support CI process. Our proposal takes as inputs decision makers' requirements and a set of Semantic Databases (SDB) sources for building the SDW.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128989007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the major unsolved problems in the Competitive Intelligence (CI) is the management of unstructured data. The unstructured data such as multimedia files, documents, comments, customer support request, news, emails, reports and web pages are difficult to capture and store in the common database system. This paper will explained the main process of unstructured data, based on the web services technologies for a Competitive Intelligence System (CIS) XEW. The knowledge extraction from these databases has been studied massively during this last decade. However, the problem still present in the distributed data mining process is the communication cost between the different parts of the database located naturally in remote sites. We present in this paper a decision tree classification approach with a low cost communication strategy using a set of the most useful inter-base links for the classification task. Different experiments conducted on real datasets showed a significant reduction in communication costs and an accuracy almost identical to some traditional approaches.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133380617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Speech recognition vocabulary is extended using diachronic documents. This article explores a new method based on neural network (NN), proposed recently by Mikolov. The NN uses high-quality continuous representation of words from large amounts of unstructured text data and predicts surrounding words of one input word. Different strategies of using the NN to take into account lexical context are proposed. Experimental results on broadcast speech recognition and comparison with previously proposed methods show an ability of NN representation to model semantic and lexical context of proper names.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"598 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123427038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, they offer a synthetic vision of territories allowing, then, an easier explanation of the most important information. In this context, and as spatial tools of analysis, chorems may be considered as excellent candidates that provide geographers with a global view of interesting phenomena or an insight into a specific issue. Starting from this statement, the following research has been launched to serve the ideas previously stated and to generate chorematic maps automatically. The present paper describes the project rotating about automatic chorems generation starting from datasets of interest encoded with an XML-like multi-level language. We note that our implemented system ensures users interaction by allowing them a set of operations to adapt the maps obtained to their interests.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130243124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, we proposed a query expansion method based on both semantic knowledge from existing ontologies for the Arabic language and information from the users' profiles. The proposed method is interesting for several reasons. Personalized information related to the users' profiles to enrich the query should be considered since it is entirely appropriate and justified to improve traditional IR systems. Moreover, this idea has been little exploited for IR systems in Arabic. In addition, the coupling between information from the user's profiles and that contained in the ontologies is also an original and interesting track to develop. The suggested query expansion method has been implemented and tested on 150 queries for 50 users or 7500 queries of evaluation. The results of this evaluation are promising.","PeriodicalId":115266,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence (SIIE)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125957191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
