The healing in such a wound is unpredictable in relation to time contrary to the way most wounds heal. The type of wounds that do not heal within three months are often and should be considered chronic wounds. Aim: To study the efficacy of topical use of collagen granules in wound healing. Material and method: In this prospective study one hundred cases with chronic non-healing wounds were selected and treated with collagen granules topically. The effect on the chronic wounds was studied for three months. The collagen granules were made from 100 % bovine collagen. Observation and result: all the wounds were observed for three months in terms of disappearance of slough, appearance of healthy granulation tissue and complete or incomplete healing. Conclusion: The use of collagen granules dressing accelerated the wound healing in chronic wounds/ulcers. Depression and Emotional disturbances 17(24.2%), osteoporosis 13 (18.5%), atrophic vaginitis (vulvo-vaginal atrophy) 12(17%),and urinary incontinence 10(14.2%).(b) 12 women had Menopause due to castration (oophroctomy),surgery and radiation of uterus and ovaries had obesity 5 (41%) depression 3 (25%),osteoporosis 4 (33.3%)(c) 8 women had Early or pre-mature menopause had Diabetic 4 (50%), HIV 2 (25%) and CVS 2 (25%). This case report discusses the clinical and radiographic presentation, diagnosis and management of a large aggressive central giant cell granuloma in maxilla of a 45 year old woman. A conservative medical- surgical protocol of weekly intralesional steroid injections followed by a conservative curettage and liquid nitrogen cryotherapy was followed to prevent recurrence and at the same time avoiding the morbidity of an aggressive resection. It was estimated that stroke represented 1.2% of the total deaths in India, when all ages were included. The most promising strategy to reduce the worldwide burden of stoke is effective stroke prevention. Carotid artery Intima -media thickness (IMT) is an independent predictor of subsequent stroke or myocardial infarction after adjustment for traditional risk factors (hypertension, smoking etc.)1. We sought to establish the relationship between CIMT and risk of stroke. In our study, there are 130 patient were taken as case & control.
