Flint findings were a byproduct of the general survey and their collection was selective because of inadequate know-how of the teams at the time and the fact that attention was paid mainly to historic sites. The aim of this study was to establish a general chronological framework for the flint assemblages but in some cases it was impossible to distinguish sub-stages or local characteristics.
