Participants for the study were 75 undergraduates, taking an eight-week optional college English course at a four-year college in China. FA data were collected in the final course of the course by a self-reporting survey using the online training platform Mosoteach. To achieve the finding, the relationship between FA scores and SA scores (final exam and performance scores) was analyzed in SPSS by means of Pearson correlation analyses. Significant positive correlations were found between FA and SA scores overall. In addition, students’ performance on chapter tests, online discussions, brainstorming, quick-responses, assignments and the number of thumbs-up clicks by teachers were significantly correlated with SA scores. The results suggested that FA administered through the Mosoteach app could improve students’ academic performance, thus providing an empirical basis for improving educational assessment. Based on these findings, implications for assessment in EFL classes were described.","PeriodicalId":111441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Digital Convergence","volume":"346 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116129155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given that importance, although executives’ mobility becomes prevalent, most prior studies tended to focus on involuntary turnover of executive members. To fill this gap, the current theoretical paper suggests a model of executive voluntary turnover, drawing on the lierature of employee mobility and entrepreneurship. First, running a new business as a CEO negatively affects prior-firm performance, but collaboration between two firms mitigate the negative association. Second, spin-off positively affects prior-firm performance, but this is weakened as spin-off firm performance decreases. Finally, moving to a competitor negatively, while moving to a collaborator positively affects prior-firm performance.","PeriodicalId":111441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Digital Convergence","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132620635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Seoul Metropolitan has launched city brand in policy-level since 2003 and they have struggled to utilize city branding until now. This study explores the changes in Seoul’s city brand in order to suggest a future direction for such efforts. The research is grounded in various domestic and foreign theories and case studies are considered from previous studies related to the place marketing, city marketing, and city branding. Relevant data were collected and analyzed, indicating that an unsure city brand requires strategic governance among stakeholders and civic consensus.","PeriodicalId":111441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Digital Convergence","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116042928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the representative technologies in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution is artificial intelligence(AI). In particular, AI makes human life richer and more comfortable and has many positive aspects. The negative aspect is that AI is likely to replace the organizational members' job and has the ability to replace skills associated with it. These threats may increase the level of perception that organizational members may loss their job. Moreover, it may lead to a sense of anxiety. In addition, organizational members who perceive job uncertainty highly, the job substitution anxiety may be become highly. According to this, their job satisfaction can be lower. Overall, this research emphasized the negative aspects of AI in contrast to the positive aspects of the fourth industrial era. It is also emphasized that the organization should need to recognize such problems and seek solutions to reduce workers' anxiety. Finally, practical implications and research directions of future study were presented through the research results.","PeriodicalId":111441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Digital Convergence","volume":"232 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132172674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 149 college students participated in the study and completed the survey including learning flow, learning burnout and demographic information. The results showed that participants with higher learning flow showed less learning burnout. In addition, the perceived effectiveness of online learning partially mediated the relationship between cognitive learning flow and learning burnout, but did not mediate the relationship between defined learning flow and learning burnout. Since learners with higher cognitive learning flow perceived online learning as more effective, it is necessary to find out how to build learners’ cognitive learning flow to decrease learning burnout. The results imply that universities should provide students with administrative support and an appropriate online learning environment.","PeriodicalId":111441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Digital Convergence","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117103919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
