The fecal streptococci (FS) and fecal coliforms (FC) ranged from 0-5 CFU/100ml and 0-62 CFU/100ml respectively. The bacterial contamination in groundwater may be because of improper source protection and possibility of enroute contamination. Geogenic background has major impact on groundwater quality in Pench with gneisses and basaltic type of formation which reflect on the physicochemical water quality parameters. Water quality parameters like turbidity, fluoride, iron and bacterial counts are above the permissible limit in some water sources making the water unsuitable for drinking purpose. The high turbidity in the groundwater samples is attributed to the presence of iron precipitates. Study area is covered with red ferruginous soils which are rich in iron and contributes to iron content in groundwater. Appropriate treatment is required to reduce down the iron and fluoride concentrations followed by disinfection so that the water quality parameters fulfill BIS guidelines for potability of water. The correlation and regression analysis among different water quality parameters helps in establishing relationships among water quality parameters drawing inferences about them. Water quality monitoring at regular interval with suitable treatment measures is very much essential to provide safe drinking water to the consumers.\u0000","PeriodicalId":108573,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Applied Sciences","volume":"360 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141686413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Facility agriculture is characterized as a modern agricultural production mode that improves or creates favorable environmental conditions within a specific locality. With the rapid expansion of large-scale facility agriculture, there has been an increased demand for various types of energy, including electricity, gas, cold, and heat. Agricultural lighting equipment used in facility agriculture is a modern agricultural technique that applies engineering technology to regulate light supplementation in the production process. Facility lighting offers several advantages over traditional methods, such as higher photovoltaic conversion efficiency, adjustable spectrum, high photosynthetic efficiency, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, long lifespan, monochromatic light, cold light source, and compact size. Promoting national food security, carbon neutrality, returning farmland to forests, and implementing low-carbon green agricultural policies all contribute to the favorable use of facility agriculture lighting. This study aims to provide a systematic summary of the relevant research conducted in the past decade using Citespace software. The advantage of facility agriculture for carbon sequestration capacity can effectively reduce net carbon emissions from facility agricultural production activities. In addition, the combination of agriculture and the Internet of Things can effectively improve agricultural production efficiency and economic returns. Combining artificial intelligence and other technologies with facility agriculture engineering, based on multi-source data fusion, intelligent early warning for facility agriculture energy internet can be used to prevent agricultural meteorological disasters. More importantly, it helps maintain global food security, eliminate hunger, and reduce economic inequality. The findings of this study will contribute to a deeper understanding of agricultural lighting equipment, serving as a new theoretical foundation for achieving agricultural emission reduction targets and promoting agricultural technical cooperation.\u0000","PeriodicalId":108573,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Applied Sciences","volume":"42 21","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140259266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper uses time series data of Guangdong's GDP and energy consumption from 2002 to 2021, and applies methods such as unit root test, cointegration analysis, multicollinearity test and correction, and sequence correlation test and correction to study the impact of the consumption of various components of terminal energy on Guangdong's GDP. The results show that (1) the logarithm of coal consumption (LnX1) and the logarithm of oil consumption (LnX2) have no significant impact on the logarithm of GDP (LnGDP) at the 5% significance level; (2) the logarithm of electricity consumption (LnX3) and the logarithm of other energy consumption (LnX4) have a significant impact on the logarithm of GDP (LnGDP) at the 5% significance level, and on average, an increase of 1% in electricity consumption and other energy consumption will increase Guangdong's GDP by 0.698% and 0.507%, respectively; (3) the logarithm of coal consumption (LnX1) and the logarithm of oil consumption (LnX2) have no significant impact on the logarithm of GDP (LnGDP) in the current period at the 5% significance level, but have a significant positive impact with a lag of one year. Based on these findings, policy recommendations are proposed.","PeriodicalId":108573,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Applied Sciences","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129953384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
