This paper the first step is to propose a series of research hypothesis about the validity of positive investment, which bases on the market conditions as the external control variable and analysis the characteristics of securities market in China. Then, according to relevant data in security market, we have the following conclusions: In the decline phase of the market, positive securities investment fund can overcome the market; but in the rising phase of the market, taking into account the information acquisition cost and transaction costs, positive securities investment fund is difficult to overcome the market.","PeriodicalId":107970,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information and Financial Engineering","volume":"1975 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125696236","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data analysis found significant statistical relations between some of the study's variables; it appears that respondents in GFSI across the world assess security and privacy issues differently. This information is at variance with the views in the industry suggesting that entities in the GFSI comply with comparable standards and practices. This study showed that there are marked variations in how security and privacy issues are perceived across GFSI when differing regulatory and transparency environments are considered. Corporate managers in the industry may benefit from this study's information and discussions as they formulate region- and country-wide security and privacy policies. It is not suggested that the findings presented herein represent the final word in the area.","PeriodicalId":107970,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information and Financial Engineering","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128196680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the author deals with the returns on securities in fuzzy terms. We use fuzzy number to deal with the uncertainty. Considering the three factors (return, risk and liquidity), we obtain a portfolio selection model based on the weighted possibilistic mean and variance of fuzzy numbers. It provided some viable models and methods for an analysis of regional environmental economics. Based on the economic growth model of multi-department endogenesis, developed and developing regional environmental economic optimal models with environmental factors were built respectively against the developed and developing regional characteristics. When optimal solution existed and settled, through solving solution to growth rate of some important economic variables on the stable condition, it analyzed environmental economic problems in developed and developing regions, and made a primary analysis of the optimal control strategy for sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":107970,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information and Financial Engineering","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132188227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the long run, investors must rely on the invested companies' financial outcomes to share with their equity shareholders. Thus, in the stock market, Arms' financial statements should be scrutinized and diagnosed before making investment decisions, which is so-called fundamental analysis. Although scholars and investment professionals have proposed some investing rules to outperform market, few robust methods are available to meet this goal. Among previous studies, the accounting-based fundamental analysis (F-Score) [1] has been a widely accepted model for value investing. However, the manner which is based on financial information and traditional regression models would face difficulty of acquiring implicit knowledge and interactive considerations of senior experts. To improve the applicability of F-Score system, this research integrates fuzzy set theory and decision method for multiple criteria to propose an innovative model for distinguishing strong financial prospect stocks among high book-to-market (B/M) banking stocks. Our empirical study shows the practicability of the proposed model.","PeriodicalId":107970,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information and Financial Engineering","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115325711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the existing theoretical models of impact of IT investment on enterprise performance have some limitations and disadvantages. In this paper, a new systematic and comprehensive theory model of impact of IT investment on banking performance is proposed, which is true of China finance information status. This model not only includes the intermediate business processes associated with IT and performance, but also the important environment variables, such as banking size, time factor and IT application ability. The components of theory model are analyzed elaborately. The research results show that the impact of IT investment on banking performance in China has the characteristics of stage and indirectness.","PeriodicalId":107970,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information and Financial Engineering","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132684415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
