Dehydration can cause various health problems, including decreased mental and physical performance, and can even cause death if not treated immediately. Therefore, it is important to be able to detect and treat dehydration early. One way to detect dehydration is through urine color analysis. Urine that is darker than normal can be a sign of dehydration. The classification of dehydration level according to urine color is as follows: 1-2: Hydrated, 3-4: Mildly dehydrated, 5-6: Dehydrated, 7-8: Very dehydrated. This research aims to develop an IoT-based dehydration detection system that can detect the level of dehydration in a person based on urine color and regulate water intake automatically using a water pump. The novelty of this research is the method of integrating drinking water intake with dehydration detection based on real-time urine color based on IoT using the Fuzzy Logic method. The results of this research are used by the Jember State Polytechnic TeFa Nutrition Care Center (NCC) in serving patients. The methodology used in this research is Fuzzy Logic image processing to process urine color data and determine a person's level of dehydration. After carrying out this research, the following conclusions were obtained: Based on the literature study in this research, 8 levels of hydration status according to NSW Health were obtained, then from this literature a method was obtained to measure a person's hydration based on urine color using image processing using the Fuzzy Logic method.","PeriodicalId":106098,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Information System","volume":" 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139618610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design of electronic medical records (EMRs) for continuous care patients, especially those with non-communicable diseases, is being studied in order to meet the ever-increasing needs of health care, assist patients who require continuous care, and improve the way that modern medical technology serves humans. The Waterfall framework concept is used in the research process, and an electronic medical record system is designed in accordance with the goals and the overall architecture of the system. Black-box testing and white-box testing are then conducted to evaluate the features, dependability, and stability of the designed electronic medical record system. Furthermore, when combined with other research findings, the design's viability is demonstrated. It is evident that the electronic medical record system created for the study's patients who require ongoing care is entirely workable. As electronic medical records continue to develop, there will be more opportunities to research and enhance this system, which will benefit patients and hospitals alike in the long run.","PeriodicalId":106098,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Information System","volume":" 21","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139625046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Comparing area ratios in the neuroretinal rim is difficult for ophthalmologists since it requires high accuracy and is highly dependent on the patient's retinal condition. In this study, we sought to perform neuro retinal rim feature extraction based on histogram and gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) of normal retinal images and glaucoma, automatically distinguish between normal eyes and eyes with glaucoma, and evaluate the method's validity using the measures of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity We adopted a machine learning approach in conducting automatic feature extraction of the retinal rim through three main stages: 1) image acquisition, 2) pre-processing, and 3) classification. We used a dataset from RIM-ONE for normal eyes images and DRISTHI-GS for glaucoma images.Classification was carried out on 154 images (80 images for glaucoma images and 74 images for normal images). Regarding true positive, false negative, false positive, and true negative, we examined the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of automatic extraction and classification. The highest findings are 96.10%, 98.75%, and 93.24%, respectively. This study showed that automatic texture features and classification are possible, accurate and important in detecting glaucoma.","PeriodicalId":106098,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Information System","volume":"6 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139630678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are one type of medical record management that can be used to solve the issue. EMR is built based on Software as a Service (SaaS) which enables it to be used by all healthcare providers with minimal infrastructure and optimal data integration. The application used a single identity number for each patient, and it caused less redundancy in patient registration data. Developed using the Waterfall method, it was processed at several stages: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The EMR system had some features: recording history, diagnosis, and therapy. In the diagnosis section, the system had a disease code related to ICD-10. It can be concluded that the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is ready to be implemented in the POLIJE polyclinic. The implementation of EMR is important to reinforce the Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records.","PeriodicalId":106098,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Information System","volume":"2017 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114904960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
