Reference Publication Year Spectroscopy (RPYS). Preliminary data of the study was extracted from Web of Science by using two phrases i.e., \"Knowledge Management System\" and \"Knowledge Management Systems\" to search in terms of topic (comprising the four parts: title, author keywords, abstract and KeyWords Plus). The search was confined to the time span from 1974 to 2017 which formulated a dataset of 1541 documents covering 37826 cited references. The seminal publications were associated with peak years of 1958, 1959, 1962, 1966, 1967, 1975, 1986, 1991, 1995 and 1998. In the second historical analysis, N_TOP10 indicator of CREx-plorer further identified seven landmark publications related to KMS. Landmark publications were described as those belonging to the top 10% of the most frequently cited publications for more than 15 years. In essence, this study identified 18 seminal/landmark works in the continuum of KMS. Moreover, the results of the investigation on seminal/ landmark works revealed that the subject of KMS is rooted in the areas of anatomy, economics, entrepreneurship, information systems, operations management, computer science, and management science. The results of this study could be useful for researchers, practitioners working in the spectrum of KMS.","PeriodicalId":10501,"journal":{"name":"COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management","volume":"14 1","pages":"163 - 176"},"PeriodicalIF":1.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1080/09737766.2020.1833691","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44588482","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of the 9450 publications, 97% were journal articles and reviews. The pattern of output indicates a consistent growth of output of research publications. The study identified most prolific countries, institutions and authors and the impact of their output in terms of Citation per Paper (CPP) and Relative Citation Impact (RCI). The analysis of data indicates that USA topped the list of countries followed by Peoples Republic of China (PRC). However, the UK made the highest impact in terms of CPP and RCI. Among the institutions, Chinese Academy of Sciences was the most productive research institute. The study also identified highly cited authors and channels used for communicating research results. The study also indicates that a significant number of papers originated from European countries also. These countries and institutions also get more citations as compared to other countries.","PeriodicalId":10501,"journal":{"name":"COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management","volume":"14 1","pages":"9 - 21"},"PeriodicalIF":1.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1080/09737766.2020.1743789","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45650394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The formal experience was collected from current PhD., Masters and Bachelor students of the University of Debrecen for the quality concerns of digital libraries through several quality assurance models launched by ISO/IEC which were well followed by later releases of FURPS. These models have several metrics as satisfaction, effectiveness, productive time, time-taken, compatibility, security, etc. In this study, metrics are taken from ISO/IEC 9126 while security and compatibility were picked from ISO/IEC-25010. Article mines association rule among metrics using Apriori algorithm. Study is highlighting users' trend of searching and their satisfaction. Altogether 1,922 highly cited papers in seven document types with cited at least 100 times since publication to the end of 2016 from Web of Science Core Collection were found, and a total of 1,556 highly cited articles were published from 1990 to 2014. The articles were analysed in terms of document type, language of publication, trends in publication, journals, Web of Science categories, and publications of countries, institutions, and authors. The results showed that Journal of Biological Chemistry led 211 journals. The top three categories were biochemistry and molecular biology, cell biology, and oncology. The USA took the lead position among 43 countries with 67% of all the highly cited articles, and Harvard University of the USA with 14% of all highly cited articles was the most productive institution. A comprehensive analysis of keywords revealed that activation, pathway, Akt, and apoptosis were recent foci. In addition, classic articles with more than 1,000 citations since publication to the end of 2016 are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":10501,"journal":{"name":"COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management","volume":"14 1","pages":"37 - 54"},"PeriodicalIF":1.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1080/09737766.2020.1768172","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45216112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Russia ranks 5th now; it has 6% of publications of the global amount. There is a double increase in the number of papers by domestic researchers. The priority in choosing publications for the benefit of foreign journals is changing. The leader among organizations within the country is Lomonosov Moscow State University. The interest of organic chemists towards the area of medical and physical chemistry is increasing, whereas the fraction of research related to biochemistry and molecular biology is decreasing.","PeriodicalId":10501,"journal":{"name":"COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management","volume":"14 1","pages":"23 - 36"},"PeriodicalIF":1.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1080/09737766.2020.1766388","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42767784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
