Effect of the thick extract from the leaves of Corylus avellana on vascular tissue permeability in rats has been assessed by the time of papules coloring (animal skin at the injection side of flohohen substances) in seconds. We used formalin, histamine, protein, which have different mechanisms of action on capillary permeability. In the group, which has been administrated with the studied extract at its conditional therapeutic dose of 60 mg/kg we have observed the decrease of vascular permeability induced by flohogene substances. It was determined that the most pronounced vessel strengthening effect during the experiment with histamine, where papules coloring has been 1.9 times slower compared with the control group. In comparison with eskuvit the data rates has been approaching to 1. Taking into consideration the mechanism of the action of the applied flohogenes we can suggest that an extract from the leaves of Corylus avellana detects an expressed validity of capillaries permeability and mikrocirculations. Extract showed a moderate effect against the background of formalin and protein inflammation, but this index has exceeded the index of the eskuvit group by 170 seconds against the background of formalin inflammation. Despite the undeniable clinical effectiveness, their use is associated with the risk of side effects. This fact directs scientific research to searching combinations of NSAIDs with other substances in order to identify compositions which will allow reducing the dose of the NSAID without losing its anti-inflammatory effectiveness. In view of all this, a new combined drug “Diclocor” developed by “Borshchahivskiy CPP” (Ukraine) is of interest. The article presents the results of the experimental study of the anti-inflammatory effect of the combined drug “Diclocor” in comparison with its active monocomponents – diclofenac sodium and quercetin. The alterative stage of inflammation was studied on the model of scarified wounds, the exudative stage – on the model of carrageenin edema, and the proliferative stage – on the model of cotton pellet-induced granuloma. All studies were conducted in rats. The experimental results have shown the superiority of Diclocor in influencing on all three stages of inflammation compared to the reference drugs in the appropriate doses. Spiridonova","doi":"10.24959/CPHJ.14.1322","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24959/CPHJ.14.1322","url":null,"abstract":"The effect of low-intensity laser radiation (LILR) on the background of a photosensitizer (ethacridine lactate) on selective elimination of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms has been studied. Taking into account antiseptic properties of ethacridine lactate the maximally possible time of influence of ethacridine lactate as a photosensitizer should be set. It has been found that after the influence of rivanol (ethacridine lactate) within 1.5-3 minutes the bactericidal action on microorganisms is observed. The effect of antiseptic in the interval from 30 to 60 seconds was not accompanied with the expressed quantitative change of the microbial population. The second stage of the research was identification of microorganisms sensitivity to various concentrations of the photosensitizer. As a photosensitizer the aqueous solution of ethacridine lactate in the concentrations of 0.1; 0.05; 0.01% was used. The results obtained allow to conclude that the concentration of 0.1% solution of ethacridine lactate increases the sensitivity of microorganisms to the effects of low-intensity laser radiation. During the experiment the combined impact of the antimicrobial activity of 0.1% solution of ethacridine lactate and blue spectrum laser radiation has been determined; it is manifested by decrease in the number of CFU/ml of the total microflora of the dental plaque. The number of CFU is reduced from 14.3 ± 0.12 . 10 3 /ml up to 2.4 ± 0.3 . 10 2 /ml after exposure (Table 1). Comparing the data of the control (the initial number of the colonies grown) and the experiment (the number of the colonies grown after the photoactivated disinfection) we have found that the antibacterial action of photoactivated disinfection depends directly on duration of exposure.
