In many extensions, including those with additional charged Higgs bosons, the phase transition can be of first order – even strongly so. In such a phase transition, the resulting collisions of bubbles of the new Higgs phase, and the associated interactions of sound waves in the plasma, are substantial sources of gravitational waves. For a phase transition at or around the electroweak scale, these gravitational waves may be detectable by future or planned missions, such as LISA. This can indirectly provide a complementary probe of particle physics beyond the Standard Model. I will review the physics that makes this possible.","PeriodicalId":103336,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Prospects for Charged Higgs Discovery at Colliders — PoS(CHARGED2018)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117094151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We determine the allowed regions by including several theoretical constraints including elctroweak precision and flavour observables as well as experimental constraints coming from Higgs data Run-2 and from non-observed additional Higgs at Run-2 of LHC. Our proposal scenarios shows that the production and decay of charged Higgs in 2HDM type-1 and type-X are complementary depending on the assumptions of the 2HDM parameters. Additionally, we find that in a wide range of parameter space in which non-standard neutral Higgs boson $h$ of about 95 GeV can change dramatically the decay of light charged Higgs.","PeriodicalId":103336,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Prospects for Charged Higgs Discovery at Colliders — PoS(CHARGED2018)","volume":"326 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116441941","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Electroweak symmetry breaking in this model results in singly- and doubly-charged Higgs bosons, two neutral scalar bosons, and one pseudo scalar boson. A thorough understanding of the theoretical and experimental constraints, and the resultant parameter space is developped. A direct search for the doubly charged Higgs boson is the most important probe in Higgs triplet models. While stringent limits have been put on its mass in its dileptonic decay mode, which occurs for a small triplet vacuum expectation value, the dibosonic channel is still largely unconstrained at large vacuum expectation values. Associate production with singly charged Higgs, as well as with the neutral BSM sector, previously not investigated, is explored in order to enhance the discovery potential at the LHC.","PeriodicalId":103336,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Prospects for Charged Higgs Discovery at Colliders — PoS(CHARGED2018)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129348344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These include the first running period (Run 1) legacy results at a $sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{-1}$, as well as the most recent results with the second running period Run 2 at $sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$. Model-independent upper limits at 95% confidence level on the branching ratio and/or the production cross section times the branching ratio for various processes are summarised, for charged Higgs bosons in the mass range of 80 GeV up to 3 TeV.
