The “Auteur Theory” is a French film theory that examines the character, skill, and inner meaning in movies that deal with the concept of Auteur notes. The director should emphasise on their unique aesthetic, point of view, methods, creativity, personality, and originality when crafting a film because these elements add fascination. According to the “Auteur Theory,” a director and a writer are on an equal footing because they both have unique artistic styles. The researcher took convenience sampling which is a type of non probability sampling method in drawing the population. The researcher conducts screening of a episode from a Tamil web series named Suzhal the vortex with and without Audio Description.The researcher asks 25 open-ended questions and collect information from every 52 participants individually. This research study was based on quantitative method, and the data in this study was taken in random sampling method with the use of Google form. The sampling size of this study was 102 under 15 to 25 years above. Yes the study comprises identifying three dependent variables such as empathetic listening, social cohesion and pleasure through nine other independent variables which influence the dependent variables. The Google form consist of a survey which obtains data from the responses in terms of these variables and conclusions are made. The ultimate goal of the blackcomedy genre is to instill the ultimate feeling of deep terror in the viewer. This study focuses on mise-en-scenes, composition, lighting, costumes, props, and all other objects in the frame so they can be meaningful to the audience. · Build visualizations with layers of fleeting metaphors in the scene. No matter how deep the verbal information is, the characters, plots, symbols, and all visual presentations within the frame play an important role and enhance the narrative. This study uses qualitative analysis techniques. Research is done by analyzing signifiers, and signifiers are interpreted using staging elements. The conclusion shows the new camera angles introduced to express the character’s emotions in the situation. The lighting & color tone, composition, costume, props, set design, of the objects in each frame, interpret the meaning to the audience. The researcher’s study is to analysis the movie Sarpatta parambarai (2021) through the variables found in the mise en scene,& to signify the narrative of the film. In this movie, Mise en scene analysed through signifiers, through Ferdinand de Saussure’s theory of semiotics. This research paper uses a qualitative analysis method.
