Yerofeev","doi":"10.1016/0031-9163(66)91110-3","DOIUrl":"10.1016/0031-9163(66)91110-3","url":null,"abstract":"<div><p>Using 55 cm hydrogen bubble chamber exposed in the π<sup>−</sup> - meson beam at 3.25 ±0.02 <em>GeV</em>/<em>c</em> 160 000 photographs were obtained and 2104 events of the reactions of the type <em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>p</em> → <em>pπ</em><sup>+</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup> and 1766 events of the reactions of the type <em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>p</em> → <em>pπ</em><sup>+</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>π</em><sup><em>o</em></sup> were selected and analysed. In the spectrum of the effective masses of <em>π</em><sup>+</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup><em>π</em><sup>-</sup> system from the first reaction A<sub>2</sub>-mesons were selected and the analysis was made by means of different methods to determine the spin-parity of this resonance.
