The study concludes that the advanced recycling of PLA as a production process has a lower impact compared to its production from virgin feedstock. The TenaxTM Carbon Fiber under ISCC Plus certification will be produced at Teijin's Mishima plant in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, using the mass balance approach.
