Clarithromycin was used as an internal standard (IS). Plasma extraction was performed using C-18 cartridges and methanol containing 0.1% formic acid. Analysis was performed using Atlantis dC18 (2.1 × 100 mm, 3 μm) column at room temperature and a mobile phase of 0.2% formic acid in acetonitrile and water (50:50, v:v), delivered at a flow rate of 0.2 ml/minute. Eluent was detected in the positive ion mode using electrospray ionization at the following transitions of mass to charge (m/z): colistin A, 585.6 → 101.4; colistin B, 578.7 → 101.3; and IS, 748.6 → 158.4. No interference by components of blank plasma or commonly used drugs was observed. The relationship between colistin A colistin B concentrations and their corresponding peak height ratios to the IS was linear over the range of 0.05 - 10 μg/ml. Inter-day coefficient of variation and bias were, respectively, ≤11.5% and −3.0 to 6.0 for colistin A and ≤9.9 and −4.7 to 3.0 for colistin B. Mean extraction recovery of colistin A, colistin B, and the IS were 97%, 94%, and 97%, respectively. The method was applied to assess the stability of colistin A and colistin B in processed samples (24 hr. at room temperature, 48 hours at −20°C) and unprocessed samples (24 hr. at room temperature, 8 weeks at −20°C) and after three cycles of freeze and thaw found to be ≥87%.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41481356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For scientific papers, these parameters are important to authors as well as to readers, especially for scientists who wish to understand the theory or to replicate the results. Today, most scientific and humanities journals are published in English. There are journals in Chinese, German, Hindi, Russian and other languages; however, for international use in science, business, and computer hardware and software, English is the dominant language. English is also used in diplomacy and for all kinds of international communications by people who have various other native languages. In this paper, we will present one of the leading international providers of high-quality academic English—OnLine English (OLE) and some of the functions of this service will be described.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42970357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A published paper’s number of downloads and citations are the best indices of its importance and are useful measures of the researchers’ performance. However, the published paper should be valuated and indexed independently, and the prestige of the journal in which it is published should not influence the value of the paper itself. By participating in and presenting at congresses and international meetings, scientists strongly increase the visibility of their results and recognition of their research; this also promotes their publications. Status in Research Gate (RG), the so-called RG Score, the Percentile, and the h-index give researchers feedback about their performance, or their place and prestige within the scientific community. RG has become an excellent tool for disseminating scientific results and connecting researchers worldwide. RG also allows researchers to present achievements other than publications (e.g., membership in recognized associations such as the American Chemist Society, a biography in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, awards received, and/or ongoing projects). This paper discusses questions regarding how the RG Score, Percentile, and h-index are calculated, whether these methods are correct, and alternative criteria. RG also lists papers with falsified results and the journals that publish them. Thus, it may be appropriate to reduce the indices for such journals, authors, and the institutions with which these authors are affiliated.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70627150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technological progress is depending on progress in chemistry. Without evaluation of nature and preparation of a pure substance, it is not imaginable existence of modern biology, medicine, metallurgy and physics. All kind of existing technologies needs distinct in nature and pure in quality substances for existence and further progress. RG aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of chemistry and related fields. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted in the fields of chemistry. One of the nearly developed concepts in liquid chromatography is described in [1], which is a new type of liquid chromatography, the new technology as the Colloidal High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (CHPLC). This type of new technological approach in high-performance liquid chromatography is a simple time- and labor-saving one-step procedure suitable for analytical-, semipreparative-, and preparative-scale preparation of bacteriocins and other cationic antibacterial peptides as well as other cationic small molecular weight species. It allows to suspensions of bacterial cells, other colloidal and fast-particle materials, and dissolved anionic molecules passed through the column; however, cationic bacteriocins, small cationic peptides, organic cationic molecules and metal cations were separated by chromatography. The purity of the target substance generally at more than 95% was achieved by the judgment of spectral, chromatographic, and antimicrobial activity. In [1] was described the preparation, purification and chromatography of bacteriocin, bacitracin and lysozyme. It is my pleasure to invite all the great scientists, academicians, young researchers, students and everyone who is interested in Science, especially in chemistry from all over the world to attend the RG. All who are interested in theoretical and applicational aspects in Chemistry, New Materials Research and Nanotechnology will find them in RG. The mass spectral fragmentation of thiosemicarbazones synthesized from acetophenones has been studied by CG/MS. The analysis of the corresponding spectra shows not only the regular fragmentation mechanisms but homolytic ruptures from even-electron species. 1H NMR spectra exhibit signals for the most intense open thioketo tautomeric structure, although when using TFA a ring structure is observed in the corresponding tautomeric equilibrium. Density Functional Theory calculations (DFT) also provide evidence to support the experimental observations by GC-MS and 1H NMR. Methylation reactions give support to the occurrence of the thioenol tautomeric form which would be the second most abundant according to the Density Functional Theoretical calculations.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41915226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The essential oil was extracted using hydro distillation method. Identification of the volatile compounds was performed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Results revealed that oil obtained from cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) was pale yellow. With respect to oil characteristics, the specific gravity, refractive index, acid value, ester value and other quality characters were not significantly different between the stored and newly harvested seeds. Thirty-eight compounds were separated and identified in cumin seeds essential oil in both seasons with some minor differences in some components between 2016 and 2017 samples. Major effective components of cumin seeds volatile oil were cumin alcohol (4-isopropylbenzyl alcohol), cumin aldehydes as 4-Isopropylbenzaldehyd and 7,7-dimethylbicyclo (4.1.0) hept-3-ene-4-carbaldehyde known as carenal, terpinenes as γ-terpinene and α-terpinene (1,4-Cyclohexadiene, 1-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl) and 1,3-cyclohexadine-1-methanol, 4(1-methethyle)-), β-pinene, o-cymene and p-menthadienol in both stored and newly harvested samples. Differences between the samples season wise were very minor with respect to type of volatile components but percentage oil yield was largely decreased by storage period.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43737282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, because of its diamagnetic nature, ferrocene does not lend itself to structural analysis by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. In this work, the oxidation of ferrocene and several of its derivatives were analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). An electrospray ionization (ESI) source was used, with picrate serving as the counter ion. This method is particularly effective for studying oxidation of ferrocenes because their reactivity toward oxygen under ambient conditions is low.","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44016920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Children with autism have been identified with lower reduced glutathione (GSH)/oxidized glutathione (GSSG) ratios, and GSH is known to strongly bind Hg(II). In order to gain insight into the mechanism by which GSH binds Hg(II), high resolution mass spectrometry coupled with tandem mass spectrometry was utilized to examine the conjugation process. While the 1:1 Hg(II):GSH conjugate is not formed immediately upon mixing aqueous solutions of Hg(II) and GSH, two species containing Hg(II) are observed: the 1:2 Hg(II):GSH conjugate, [(GS)<sub>2</sub>Hg + H<sup>+</sup>], and a second Hg(II)-containing species around <i>m/z</i> 544. Interestingly, this species at <i>m/z</i> 544 decreases in time while the presence of the 1:1 Hg(II):GSH conjugate increases, suggesting that <i>m/z</i> 544 is an intermediate in the formation of the 1:1 conjugate. Experiments using the high mass accuracy capability of Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometry coupled to an electrospray ionization source indicate that the intermediate species is [GSH + HgCl]<sup>+</sup>, and not the 1:1 conjugate [Hg(GSH) - H + 2H<sub>2</sub>O]<sup>+</sup> postulated in previous literature. Further confirmation of [GSH + HgCl]<sup>+</sup> is supported by collision of induced dissociation experiments, which show neutral loss of HCl from the intermediate and loss of the N- and C-terminal amino acids, indicating binding of Hg(II) at the Cys residue.</p>","PeriodicalId":68458,"journal":{"name":"分析质谱与色谱期刊(英文)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4442495/pdf/","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"33341227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
