This decrease is largely due tonammonium sulfate generation on the catalyst surface. To overcome thisnlimitation, we added ammonium nitrate to the V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>-WO<sub>3</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> catalyst, producing a V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>-WO<sub>3</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> catalyst with nitratenfunctional groups. With this approach, we found that it was possiblento adjust the amount of these functional groups by varying the amountnof ammonium nitrate. Overall, the resultant nitrate V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>-WO<sub>3</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> catalyst has large quantitiesnof NO<sub>3</sub><sup>–</sup> and chemisorbed oxygen, whichnimproves the density of Brønsted and Lewis acid sites on thencatalyst surface. Furthermore, the nitrated V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>-WO<sub>3</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> catalyst has a high NO<sub><i>X</i></sub> removal efficiency and N<sub>2</sub> selectivitynat low temperatures (i.e., 300 °C); this is because NO<sub>3</sub><sup>–</sup> and chemisorbed oxygen, generated by nitratentreatment, facilitated the occurrence of a fast SCR reaction. Thenapproach outlined in this study can be applied to a wide range ofnSCR catalysts, allowing for the development of more, low-temperaturenSCR catalysts.","PeriodicalId":523748,"journal":{"name":"Figshare","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147921354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
