Herein,nwe design a layered silicon/titanium composite, a silicon layer withna surface doped with titanium, by the exfoliation of industrial Si–Canalloy particles with TiCl<sub>4</sub> gas at 300 °C (relativelynlow temperature). Due to its stable surface, the black and high tapndensity layered Si/Ti composite electrode has an outstanding cyclingnstability and rate performance. The ball-milled layered Si/Ti compositenelectrode provides 1019.9 mAh·g<sup>–1</sup> capacitynat 1 A·g<sup>–1</sup> and 86.6% capacity retention aftern400 cycles and 783.8 mAh·g<sup>–1</sup> capacity at 6nA·g<sup>–1</sup>. The synthesized process is simple, collectible,nlow temperature, and friendly to the environment without acids andnbases, making it a good prospect for LIBs.","PeriodicalId":523709,"journal":{"name":"Figshare","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147920618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
