Low-temperature syntheses generally require lower ligandnconcentrations but are severely limited by the low solubility of thenCs precursor. We describe an innovative and general approach employingncrown ethers under ambient conditions to overcome these solubilitynlimitations. The crown ethers facilitate complete dissolution of thenCsBr precursor, rendering CsPbBr<sub>3</sub> QD inks practical forndevice fabrication. The resultant light-emitting diodes (LEDs) displayednbright green emission, with a current efficiency and external quantumnefficiency of 9.22 cd A<sup>–1</sup> and 2.64%, respectively.nThis represents the first LED based on CsPbBr<sub>3</sub> QDs preparednat room temperature. Lastly, the crown ethers form core–shellnstructures, opening new avenues to exploit their strong coordinationnstrength.","PeriodicalId":522745,"journal":{"name":"Figshare","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147902570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
