As it was employed as an anode materialnfor lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), high reversible capacity, enhancednrate performance, and excellent cycling stability were achieved asncompared with those of the corresponding cellulose-substance-derivednnanotubular A-titania, R-titania, heterogeneous anatase/rutile titanian(A–R-titania) composite, and commercial P25 powder. This benefitednfrom its unique porous cross-linked three-dimensional structure inheritednfrom the initial cellulose substance scaffold, which enhances thensufficient electrode/electrolyte contact, relieves the severe volumenchange upon cycling, and improves the amount of lithium-ion storage;nmoreover, the high loading content of the silver component in thencomposite improves the electrical conductivity of the electrode.
