Additionally, the study seeks to depict the process of local cultural commodification in the development of Wayang Villages, Kepuhsari. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing direct observation and in-depth interviews as data collection techniques. The results indicate that the development of a tourism village through local culture in Kepuhsari is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors involve the modern mindset of the community, the availability of cultural resources, economic factors, community efforts to preserve wayang (traditional puppetry), and the creativity of the local population. On the other hand, external factors include adapting to market trends and consumer preferences, as well as support and socialization regarding tourism villages from external entities. The commodification of local culture materializes through innovations in wayang, leading to various changes in its function, form, production processes, distribution, and consumption. These innovations serve as responses to market demands and external support, creating an environment conducive to the development of Wayang Villages as a tourism destination. This research provides a deeper understanding of the dynamics of local cultural commodification in the context of tourism village development, with a focus on the specific case of Wayang Villages in Kepuhsari. The implications of these findings can serve as a foundation for more targeted policy development, supporting the preservation of local culture while stimulating economic growth through the tourism sector.","PeriodicalId":518446,"journal":{"name":"BAILEO : JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA","volume":"260 1-2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140530680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method employed is a qualitative approach through field research using interview techniques, guided discussions, and field observations. The findings depict the perspective of the Aman Seri indigenous community towards Sao Stone as the most fundamental and essential element, always closely intertwined with their natural existence. Their cosmological beliefs designate Sao Stone as the centre of cosmic power, serving as a guide for profound exploration and appreciation of the beauty of logos radiating within the Aman Seri cosmos. Moreover, faced with the severe destruction of the cosmic order due to the colonialism of the Portuguese and Dutch in Ambon, the survival of the Aman Seri indigenous community can be sustained through the role of Sao Stone as the cosmic centre. Sao Stone is considered a robust anchor of defense and security for the Aman Seri community.","PeriodicalId":518446,"journal":{"name":"BAILEO : JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA","volume":"46 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140530863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to explore social transformation in the educational context, specifically focusing on the role of teachers in establishing an environment free from bullying behaviors. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design. Data collection utilizes observational techniques and in-depth interviews, subsequently undergoing analysis through processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure data validity, technical assessments are conducted through technical triangulation, source triangulation, and member checks. The primary findings of this research encompass several aspects. Firstly, physical forms of bullying involve behaviors such as shoulder grabbing, hitting, and foot stomping. Meanwhile, verbal bullying manifests through name-calling, forced borrowing, and the invocation of parental names. Secondly, the main causes of bullying behaviors stem from family factors, with the influence of media, including television broadcasts and mobile phones depicting violent scenes, also playing a contributing role. Thirdly, teachers' strategies in addressing bullying involve interventions between students, performing ablution, seeking explanations from both parties, and encouraging offenders to acknowledge their mistakes and apologize. The results of this study offer in-depth insights into the dynamics of bullying in the Indonesian educational environment, simultaneously serving as a foundation for the development of more effective and inclusive prevention strategies.","PeriodicalId":518446,"journal":{"name":"BAILEO : JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA","volume":"111 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140530524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To this end, the article explores the intergenerational interaction in digital literacy education among millennial families in Negeri Suli, Central Maluku. The aim of this research is to describe the patterns of intergenerational interaction in the context of digital literacy. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies from 10 millennial families in Negeri Suli. The primary informants involved 10 family members, as well as the King who serves as the village head, traditional leader, Saniri, and a teacher at SD XX school. The findings indicate that intergenerational interaction in digital literacy education encompasses imparting digital technology knowledge and skills to both the Z generations and baby boomers generations. This enables them to support previous generations in facing the digital era and strengthens intergenerational communication. The effectiveness of digital literacy education in schools was found through experiential-based teaching approaches and curriculum integration, successfully reducing generational gaps. Moreover, digital literacy is recognized as a crucial component in UNESCO's long-term plan for the future of education. Through digital literacy campaigns, family members are empowered to enhance their analytical abilities in leveraging digital technology optimally.","PeriodicalId":518446,"journal":{"name":"BAILEO : JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA","volume":"16 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140531742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
