Sidharta, Adi Herlambang","doi":"10.55208/jeme.v2i1.144","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55208/jeme.v2i1.144","url":null,"abstract":"Unforeseeable and fluctuating seasons can result in diminished agricultural yields, irregular rainfall patterns that adversely affect crop growth, and subpar harvests. The presence of pests and diseases can have a substantial impact on crop health and productivity, leading to decreased yields and lower-quality crops. Additionally, the rising costs of fertilizers and other agricultural inputs can impede farmers' ability to acquire essential resources, thereby hampering their productivity and overall profitability. The aim of this study is to assess the well-being of the rural population in Sawahan Turen Village, specifically focusing on the agricultural sector. The study aims to identify the challenges faced by the community in carrying out agricultural activities and to explore the strategies that can be implemented in agricultural economics to improve the well-being of the community in Sawahan Turen Village. By examining these aspects, the study aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations for promoting sustainable agricultural development and enhancing the overall welfare of the community. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data to support the research objectives. The research is conducted in Sawahan Turen Village, with primary data collected through direct interviews with key subjects and informants, including farmers in Sawahan Turen Village, agricultural extension workers, and relevant stakeholders. Through this qualitative approach, the study aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations for sustainable agricultural development and improving the overall welfare of the community. The research findings highlight the significant role of the agricultural sector in Sawahan Turen Village in contributing to the well-being of its community. It was observed that the involvement of the youth in this sector is notable, as a considerable number of young individuals in Sawahan Turen Village engage in farming activities. The primary reasons for their participation in agriculture are the profitability of farming in the village and the inheritance of agricultural land from their parents, which has equipped them with the necessary farming skills passed down through generations. Interestingly, despite having higher levels of education, many young individuals in Sawahan Turen Village choose to pursue farming. This has contributed to the continuity and preservation of the agricultural sector in the village, which has been practiced and sustained for generations. The study's originality is derived from its specific focus on Sawahan Turen Village, examining the agricultural sector's impact on community well-being. While previous research exists on rural development, this study offers a unique perspective by investigating youth involvement in farming and the preservation of traditional practices. By uncovering the motivations behind youth engagement, including profitability and inherited land, the stud","PeriodicalId":518268,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Economics, Management, and Entrepreneurship","volume":"5 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141796976","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

EPS is utilized as a metric to gauge the profitability of each share, whereas PER characterizes the market's assessment of the earnings generated per share. The research employed a descriptive verification analysis method, utilizing a sample of seven prominent organizations within the researched sector.The data utilized is derived from the yearly financial reports of each company, specifically secondary data. The investigation employed multiple regression approaches to examine the hypothesis regarding the impact of EPS and PER on stock prices. The test utilizes the coefficient of determination to ascertain the extent to which the regression model can account for the fluctuations in stock prices.The research findings indicate a substantial correlation between EPS (Earnings Per Share), PER (Price Earnings Ratio), and firm share prices within the food and beverage industry on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). The R^2 value of 0.753 suggests that 75.3% of the changes in stock prices can be accounted for by the independent variables, EPS and PER. In this industry, share prices are primarily influenced by the profitability per share and market valuation.In addition, this study emphasizes that additional variables not investigated in this research can significantly impact stock prices, including macroeconomic conditions, market sentiment, government regulations, and other external factors. Stable macroeconomic conditions can lead to more favorable circumstances for increased stock values, whereas government policy or market sentiment alterations can profoundly influence a company's stock performance.The recommendations derived from this study are intended for investors and corporate executives operating in the food and beverage industry on the IDX. Investors are advised to consider the earnings per share (EPS) and price-to-earnings ratio (PER) components of their fundamental analysis to make better-informed investment choices. It is recommended that companies prioritize enhancing their financial performance and ensuring openness in their financial reporting to boost market trust and raise the value of their shares.Subsequent investigations might broaden the range by including supplementary variables like Dividend Yield or Return on Equity (ROE) while doing a more extensive analysis of qualitative elements that impact market perceptions of EPS and PER. This research contributes to understanding the factors that impact share prices in the Indonesian capital market, particularly within the food and beverage industry.","PeriodicalId":518268,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Economics, Management, and Entrepreneurship","volume":"20 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141796788","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Presently, corporations depend on social media as a means of promotion. However, the outcomes could be more optimal. Moreover, Keratip Design encounters challenges in engaging with prospective customers, impeding the company's capacity to establish robust connections with potential clients. In order to address these problems, it is imperative to create and construct a contemporary, engaging, and appealing company profile application utilizing Laravel as the development framework. By utilizing Laravel as the underlying framework for constructing the company profile application, Kereatif Design can enhance the program's performance, bolster its security measures, and facilitate future expansion of its functionality. The app will allow Keratip Design to effectively showcase its portfolio, outline its design services, and furnish clients with the company's contact information in an immersive and dynamic manner. This project aims to develop a corporate profile application utilizing Laravel as a promotional instrument for Keratip Design.
