Data was collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of documents related to existing learning programs. Data analysis is carried out with content analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Qiroati method has a positive impact on the development of the quality of Qur'an reading. By integrating aspects of tajweed and tafsir, learners can understand the meaning and law of tajweed contained in each verse of the Qur'an. Learning programs that adopt the Qiroati method are also able to provide a more immersive and interactive learning experience, helping learners overcome difficulties in reading the Qur'an correctly. However, challenges also arise in implementing the Qiroati method, such as the need for teachers who are skilled in tajweed and tafsir, as well as the development of learning materials that follow the students' comprehension behavior. Therefore, it is recommended that there is a holistic approach in designing learning programs, as well as continuous training for teachers to maximize the potential of the Qiroati method in improving the quality of Qur'an reading.","PeriodicalId":517747,"journal":{"name":"Chalim Journal of Teaching and Learning","volume":"1 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140285146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation using qualitative methods and a case study approach. The research results show that Islamic Religious Education teachers are crucial as students' mentors, models, and advisors. They help internalize and encourage the practice of religious values in students' daily lives. Schools also create this religious culture by establishing regulations, work programs, facilities, and regular religious activities. A solid religious culture in schools can shape positive character in students and create a conducive learning environment, potentially improving education quality. However, research also identifies several challenges, such as lack of support, limited resources, and negative influences from the surrounding environment that can affect the effectiveness of these efforts. Therefore, increasing support and problem-solving for these obstacles is needed to strengthen the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in forming religious culture in schools.","PeriodicalId":517747,"journal":{"name":"Chalim Journal of Teaching and Learning","volume":"20 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140396425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is carried out at Private Islamic Elementary Schools in the KKMI Cluster of Pancatengah Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency. A Simple Random Sampling technique is applied, involving a sample size of 92 teachers. Questionnaires are used for data collection, and data analysis is conducted using SPSS version 24 for Windows. The research outcomes are outlined as follows: (1) There is a noteworthy positive impact of facility management on teachers' work effectiveness at Private Islamic Elementary Schools in the KKMI Cluster of Pancatengah Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency, substantiated by the computed t-value surpassing the tabulated t-value (6.626 > 1.987) with a coefficient of determination of 0.553, indicating a 55.3% influence. (2) There is a significant positive effect of the work environment on teachers' work effectiveness at Private Islamic Elementary Schools in the KKMI Cluster of Pancatengah Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency, validated by the calculated t-value exceeding the tabulated t-value (5.351 > 1.987) with a coefficient of determination of 0.494, signifying a 49.4% impact. (3) There is a substantial positive combined impact of facility and infrastructure management and the work environment on teachers' work effectiveness at Private Islamic Elementary Schools in the KKMI Cluster of Pancatengah Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency, confirmed by the computed F-value surpassing the tabulated F-value (86.960 > 3.10) with a coefficient of determination of 0.661, indicating a 66.1% effect. In summary, both facility and infrastructure management and the work environment positively and significantly influence teachers' work effectiveness at Private Islamic Elementary Schools in the KKMI Cluster of Pancatengah Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency, both individually and collectively. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type of research was applied; this study involved observation, interviews, and document collection from 15 students, two teachers, and three parents of students in Class II Marwah. The Miles, Huberman & Saldana model was used in data analysis consisting of condensing, presenting, and making conclusions. The study's findings demonstrated that SLC gives parents, instructors, and students a chance to assess each other's development and identifies areas where kids need improvement. SLC helps teachers to understand students' individual development and gives parents a deeper understanding of their children's strengths, challenges, and dreams. With SLC, students can direct their learning by selecting engaging subjects to cover. In addition to encouraging individual study and subject exploration that aligns with students' interests, SLC can foster open communication between all parties and raise the shared accountability for kids' academic performance. Teachers and parents will be able to understand their pupils' learning experiences better, enabling them to offer more specialized help. By putting SLC into practice, educators may help students take charge of their education, foster a collaborative learning environment, and promote lifelong learning and academic advancement.","PeriodicalId":517747,"journal":{"name":"Chalim Journal of Teaching and Learning","volume":"18 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140432136","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
