{"title":"Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy Untuk Mengurangi Gejala Gangguan Sikap Menentang Pada Anak","authors":"Yudi Kurniawan, Indahria Sulistyarini","doi":"10.20961/wacana.v16i1.80526","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20961/wacana.v16i1.80526","url":null,"abstract":". This research aims to reduce the symptoms of oppositional defiant disorder in child subjects by implementing Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy intervention. The subject in this intervention was an eight-year-old boy with a diagnosis of oppositional defiant disorder. The diagnosis of oppositional defiant disorder is given to children who do not meet all the criteria for a conduct disorder but who have general tantrum behavior, refuse to carry out orders from others, or deliberately behave in a way that upsets others. Oppositional disorders can be the cause of behavioral disorders in the future. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a single subject A-B design. The A-B design is a basic single-subject experimental research design based on baseline logic. The intervention used in this case is cognitive-behavioral play therapy, characterized by achieving goals with direct instruction and based on the theoretical framework of cognitive and behavioral therapy with an approach to the child's developmental needs. This therapy was chosen based on the urgency that cognitive-behavioral play therapy effectively reduces symptoms of oppositional attitudes in children and adolescents. This intervention was carried out in 5 sessions over five consecutive weeks. Research data was collected using behavioral observation and interview techniques and analyzed using visual inspection techniques. The intervention results showed a decrease in the number of opposing attitudes at school (from an average of 8 opposing behaviors to 1 behavior) and at home (from an average of 10 opposing behaviors to 2 behaviors). This research proves that cognitive-behavioral play therapy can reduce the number of opposing attitudes in child subjects.","PeriodicalId":517549,"journal":{"name":"WACANA","volume":"3 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140401325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moving family can be caused by work due to official policies or personal desires. The experience of a moving family causes an individual to move and adapt to a new environment. Social skills are needed for individuals who move to adjust to new environments every time they move and can help carry out early adult development tasks. This research uses qualitative methods and a case study approach to reveal the process of developing social skills in early adult women with a moving family background. In this study, subjects were obtained using a purposive sampling technique: three women with an age range of early adulthood (20-40 years). Data analysis uses thematic analysis starting from the process of coding information, which can produce a complex list of themes, theme models, indicators, qualifications usually related to that theme, and things between or a combination of those mentioned. The research results show that social skills experience can be applied in fulfilling early adult development tasks. Well-developed social skills today must be connected to the experience of moving families, especially those related to situations that require social skills to emerge and act as a medium for forming social interactions. Social skills start from social skills related to peers, skills related to self, academic, compliance, and interpersonal skills.","PeriodicalId":517549,"journal":{"name":"WACANA","volume":"5 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140286795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Students with disabilities have the right to obtain welfare, one of which is psychological welfare. Achieving this is important for students to have initiative and strengthen their growth. This research aims to determine the role of meaning in life in mediating personal growth initiatives and psychological well-being. The population and sample for this study were students with disabilities, with a sample of 140 students with disabilities in all universities in Indonesia who were taken using accidental sampling techniques. The measuring instruments used in this research are the Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II (α = 0.62), the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) scale (α = 0.912), and Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being (α = 0.886). The data analysis technique used is process modeling analysis version 3.0 by Andrew Hayes. The research results show that meaning in life can mediate between personal growth initiatives and psychological well-being in students with disabilities.","PeriodicalId":517549,"journal":{"name":"WACANA","volume":"20 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140285767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
