The character of teenagers at GBI Tabgha Tanjung Piayu Batam has challenges because there are still those involved in racing, the temptation to smoke, drink alcohol, the social interactions of school children who often tempt them not to take part in church activities, like to go against their parents, have a bad temper and are stubborn. . Parents lack communication with teenage children at GBI Tabgha Tanjung Piayu Batam so that there is a breakdown in the relationship between parents and children and the children's character is not formed from a positive environment. The character of teenagers at GBI Tabgha Tanjung Piayu Batam has challenges because some are still involved in racing, tempted to smoke, drink alcohol. This research aims to find out the extent of the benefits of the role of parents in guiding the character of teenagers aged 12-15 years at Bethel Indonesia Tabgha Church Tanjung Piayu Batam. The role of parents is realized through regular and personal guidance regarding positive and negative things that should be avoided or done. Parents play a role in forming the spiritual maturity of their teenagers based on God's Word so that in the future teenagers will become individuals who are strong and sturdy in their faith and fear of God. This research uses qualitative methods and the informants in this research are five parents whose data can be collected from interviews. The results of the research found that church worship is very useful and proven to develop the character of teenagers. Parents often do not provide space for teenagers to talk about their feelings, problems or worries. A lack of open communication can make children feel unheard or unappreciated. This research is descriptive qualitative research and the resource persons in this research are the Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church youth who were taken randomly. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews using the coding method. The data obtained was then analyzed using the stages of condensation, data display, drawing conclusions. The research results show that understanding the Great Commission plays a role in caring for personal evangelism in the Bethel Indonesia Bride of Christ Batam Church Youth, which is a natural expression of living Christianity. Jesus Christ is the pioneer of mission itself. God's plan in His eternal sending is to bring transformation and liberation to humans and all of His creation to bring about the eternal kingdom of God. Personal evangelism is an attempt to bring about a breakthrough in the boundaries between faith in Jesus Christ and the absence of it. The form of personal evangelism concern at Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church Youth is carrying out direct personal evangelism or face to face, via WhatsApp and intensely calling people who are in the process of evangelism. Until now, the dynamics of pros and cons of the development of science and technology continue to take place in the midst of society. These developments will bring new challenges and demand new ways of working. Some are pro and some are con, and some are examined from a religious perspective to measure what can be done and what should not be done. However, in this paper, the author discusses the impact of the progress and development of science and technology from the perspective of Christian ethics. The author understands that the application of science and technology without ethics will cause serious problems. In accordance with the Bible's doctrine of inerrancy, the Bible's texts regarding past truths should also be applied to us in the 21st century. This means that a biblical text that was acknowledged as true in the past should still be relevant to be applied today. To bring it to the present, the meaning and intent of writing a biblical text must first be captured by the expositor. Therefore, this study attempts to explore various writings on expository sermons, how they are structured, and how they are delivered from various sources in a descriptive way, then compiles a practical argument regarding current expository sermons. The preparation of an expository sermon involves exegesis in the form of in-depth research on the verses to be preached, the use of various research aids such as Bible commentaries, lexicons, Bible dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other tools. Furthermore, the results of that study can be compiled into an expository sermon. The next step is the hermeneutic task, to adapt it to the needs of the congregation today. The last step is how the preacher then uses the art of rhetoric with a variety of communication skills to be able to send a Biblical message according to the listeners and their current needs. These parties come to the counselor to make their decisions so that they are more stable and can make better adjustments in the future. Marriage counseling or what is commonly called marriage counseling is an effort to help the prospective bride and groom. Marriage counseling is carried out by professional counselors. The goal is that they can develop and be able to solve the problems they face through ways of mutual respect, tolerance, and communication, in order to achieve family motivation, development, independence, and the welfare of all family members. \u0000The purpose of personal counseling specifically has the main and foremost goal in mentoring, namely introducing the counselee to Jesus Christ with the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God and helping the counselee to become like Christ. This counseling is a service process so that the counselee has a life change and experiences recovery from the intervention of the Holy Spirit and accepts the Lord Jesus as a personal Savior so that the counselee lives and grows in a better spirituality. \u0000This service can be done by a counselor or a servant of God to help church members free from dark powers. Through this counseling service, the counselor will check the personal acceptance of Jesus; confession to God; ask forgiveness from God; deliverance prayer service; convinced of a new identity in Christ. Discipleship ministry (follow up) is very important for people who have just been released from the bonds of dark power. The strategy that the church must do is to make disciples or guide personally so that the counselee knows more about Jesus and grows more in Jesus Christ. \u0000Holiness is a state or quality of being holy. Holiness is a sign of a believer's spiritual life that must be continuously strived for, including ethical behavior. The Christian life and holiness are an inseparable unity in the believer. God's holiness has a lot to do with the people He chooses. Election/covenant is a unique expression of God's holiness. Because God is holy, God also requires His people to live holy lives (Leviticus 11:44). Character is a form of action or action carried out by humans and it can be seen from the results of these human actions if the action gives birth to a form of kindness then it will be judged that the person's character is good but if the human action does not produce something good then the human it will have a value that is not good and can be said to have a bad character. Children are the hope of the family and can even be the hope of the nation so that with all efforts the family will make it so that their children have a good character and attitude. So by teaching character education from an early age it will bring children to good deeds as well so that every child is protected from actions or actions that can harm themselves or even others.
