Female entrepreneurship is one of the most significant contributors to the growth of any economy. New businesses contribute to the construction of a successful business environment through economic growth, the creation of novel employment possibilities, and innovations in methods of production and products. Even though the share of women-owned and operated businesses in India has been growing gradually over the years, their overall representation continues to be very low. In this research, a computational analysis of the socioeconomic status of 134 women vermicompost producers was evaluated by using a pre-tested questionnaire to interview these women about various key independent and dependent characteristics. The findings were separated, correlated, and evaluated with averages and percentages as needed. The study concluded that vermicomposting improved rural women’s societal power, as demonstrated by their ability to pay for their families’ educational requirements and their economic contribution.","PeriodicalId":514303,"journal":{"name":"J. of Atmosphere and Oceanography Environment","volume":"1992 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139807514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"Marine sediments: A sink for geogenic and anthropogenic metals, a case study of Ridge flank and near vent sediments in Carlsberg Ridge, Indian Ocean","authors":"Samuel Olatunde Popoola, Akintunde Adewole Adegbite, Esther Karo Oghenede, Solomon Mordi","doi":"10.18686/jaoe.v11i2.9790","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18686/jaoe.v11i2.9790","url":null,"abstract":"Marine sediments found in the Mid-Ocean Ridges serve as repositories for both naturally occurring (geogenic)and human-generated (anthropogenic) metals. Understanding the geochemistry and processes of these sediments is crucialfor assessing their source, compositional end-members, and environmental impact. This study applied geochemical ratiosand proxies to representative samples from the Carlsberg Ridge, Indian Ocean, to determine the influence of hydrothermalcirculations on the near-vent hydrothermal sediments (NVS) and ridge flank sediments (RFS) and the potential effect oftoxic trace metals on the benthic ecosystems. The bulk chemical compositions of seven representative hydrothermalindicator metals (Ca, Al, Ti, Fe, Mn, Cu, and Zn) and seven representative toxic trace metals (Pb, Ni, Co, Cr, As, Cd, andCo) were analyzed at the A laboratory services in Guangzhou, China, by Agilent 7700 Inductively Couple Plasma MassSpectrometer (ICPMS). The geochemical signatures Fe/(Al + Fe + Mn) > 0.5; Al/(Al + Fe + Mn) < 0.3; (Fe + Mn)/Al >2.5; and (Fe + Mn)/Ti > 25 affirm the proximity of the NVS and the distal position of RFS to the Wocan vent site in theCarlsberg Ridge, Indian Ocean. The pollution indices, ecological risk index, and sediment quality guidelines showed lowto moderate contamination, low to moderate severity, and low to moderate ecological risk of As, Cd, Sb, Pb, Ni, Co, andCr to the benthic ecosystems at RFS. This is an indication of low to moderate anthropogenic influence from hydrothermalventing to the ridge flank sediment (RFS). This study has shown that an understanding of background and thresholdconcentrations can guide the development of strategies to reduce the impact of human activities on marine ecosystems.","PeriodicalId":514303,"journal":{"name":"J. of Atmosphere and Oceanography Environment","volume":" 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139622149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to delineate the present research status and trends in climate innovation through CiteSpace visual analysis. To comprehend the current landscape, prevalent terms, and research frontiers of deep learning for climate change research (DLCCR) within meteorology and atmospheric applications, we gathered 256 published papers spanning from 2018 to 2022 from the Web of Science (WOS) core database. Employing these articles, we conducted co-authorship, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence analyses. The findings unveiled a steady rise in DLCCR publications over the last five years. However, the correlation between high yield and high-citation authorship appears inconsistent and weak. Notably, prolific authors in this domain included Zhang Z.L. and Bonnet P. Furthermore, leading institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences (China), le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (France), and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (China) have played pivotal roles in advancing DLCCR. The primary contributors among high-yield countries primarily cluster in a select group comprising China, the USA, South Korea, and Germany. Identifying significant information gaps in numerical weather, atmospheric physics and processes, algorithm parametrizations, and extreme events, our study underscores the necessity for future researchers to focus on these and related subjects. This study provides valuable insights into research hotspots, developmental trajectories, and emerging frontiers, thereby delineating the knowledge structure in this field and highlighting directions for further climate innovation research.","PeriodicalId":514303,"journal":{"name":"J. of Atmosphere and Oceanography Environment","volume":"97 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139385924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
