Aldao, Sheppes, & Gross, (2015) state that emotion regulation strategies are very important for making adjustments. In this case, students must make adjustments from using smartphones. This study aims to determine the effect of intensity of smartphone use on emotional regulation in students using quantitative containing scale items Intensity of smartphone use (MPIQ Scale), Self-regulation (YAPS), Self-regulation (ERQ), data analysis used in this study is Pearson Correlation with the help of JASP. This research uses a quantitative approach, survey method. The results showed that the intensity of smartphone use has a direct positive effect on emotional regulation in students. Self-regulation has a direct positive effect on emotions in students. Self-regulation has a positive directeffect on emotion regulation in college students. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis studi literatur dan penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas tidur siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pelajar di Kota Palembang. Kriteria eksklusi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang tidak bersedia menjadi responden penelitian dan tidak mempunyai gadget. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner berupa Google form. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji chi square untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel penggunaan gadget dengan kualitas tidur siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan gadget dengan gangguan tidur adalah gadget tidak mempengaruhi kualitas tidur, hubungan tersebut diperoleh dari Hasil penelitian positif, perempuan lebih sering bermain gadget dibandingkan laki-laki, dan kualitas tidur perempuan lebih baik dibandingkan laki-laki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya tingkat stresor pada siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala PASS (Perceived Academic Stress Scale) dengan metode purposive sampling, sebanyak 106 siswa menjadi responden. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Perangkat lunak aplikasi yang digunakan untuk analisis adalah JASP versi 0.08.1.
