It identifies challenges within the Chinese education-industry integration, such as inadequate cooperation and a skills gap, and contrasts these with the German model, where applied universities effectively bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands. The methodology involves a systematic review of literature to extract insights into how Germany's dual study programs guarantee employment upon graduation and how China can adapt these strategies. A key finding is the importance of a collaborative approach between educational institutions and industries to cultivate a workforce that is equipped to meet the challenges of the modern labor market. The Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg (DHBW) is highlighted as a case study, showcasing its successful integration of theoretical and practical education with industry partnerships. It is concluded with recommendations for China to enhance its education-industry integration, advocating for closer university-industry collaboration, decentralized governance, practical program design, flexible learning formats, and supportive policy frameworks. The paper underscores the potential for Chinese applied universities to improve talent cultivation by aligning with industry needs and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, thereby increasing graduates' employability and contributing to societal development.","PeriodicalId":513345,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Science Research","volume":"89 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140659437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are five generations divided, namely (a) Baby Boomers, (b) Gen X, (c) Millennials, (d) Gen, and (e) Alpha. In the past few decades, millennials have received a lot of attention due to their transformation into adults. As the largest generation currently active in the workforce, they have sufficient numbers and power to stand up for what they deserve, and employers who hope to attract and retain millennial talent should pay attention. Millennials are often told to focus on effort rather than achievement, and often receive rewards for participation rather than performance. Millennials face certain challenges in the job market, such as technology (artificial intelligence) for job screening, higher entry qualifications, lack of experience, dishonest recruitment, safety, climate change, economy, etc. The \"millennials\" are the first generation of \"digital indigenous people\", who have never known a world without digital technology. The results show that: (1) In the emotional dimension, positive emotions are the main proportion of both evaluations, showing a trend of positive> neutral > negative; (2) In terms of the objects of concern, both can be divided into five dimensions: cruise services, cruise facilities, cruise products, cruise design and operation management. (3) Differentiation: In terms of advertorial vocabulary, OGC tends to standardize objective presentations, and the richness and emotional color of words are weak; (4) Differentiation 2: In terms of focusing on dimensions, OGC pays more attention to showing the cultural heritage of Selena with categories such as art and culture, and the communication content is more diversified and the communication structure is more stable; TGC is more inclined to play the main role of \"people\" in the process of conveying Selena's travel experience, focusing on cruise catering, cruise accommodation, cruise service and operation management. Finally, combined with the IPA model, relevant improvement and optimization measures were proposed for Selena cruise ship from four aspects: continuous maintenance area, oversupply area, opportunity development area and key improvement area.","PeriodicalId":513345,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Science Research","volume":"16 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140660349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: This paper establishes a four-index evaluation system of labor education in colleges and universities based on the CIPP model, and uses the entropy weight method to determine the index weight, so that the four indicators established by the CIPP model can be calculated. The specific scores of the indicators, and the investigation of the colleges and universities that are implementing labor education in Hebei Province, according to the data to calculate the specific scores, and then use the K-means algorithm to cluster analysis to classify the specific majors according to the characteristics of their scores, specifically and comprehensively explore the effect of labor education in colleges and universities. Conclusions: most of the majors are in high-performance majors, and the rest are basically in medium-performance majors. Only a few majors are low-performance. This phenomenon shows that China 's labor education system is healthy, which plays a role in promoting the construction of a strong education country and the cultivation of talents.","PeriodicalId":513345,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Science Research","volume":"119 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140659149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With over 170 years of growth, international exhibition industry management models have matured significantly. Developed countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada have gradually established four predominant development models: government-led, market-led, association-led, and a hybrid of government and market. These models hold a dominant position in the global development of the exhibition industry. The pace and level of development of the exhibition industry largely depend on the chosen management model. An appropriate industry management model can foster rapid development of the exhibition industry, whereas an unsuitable one can hinder progress. Under the new circumstances, China insists on implementing more extensive, broader, and deeper opening-up policies, accelerating the internationalization of the exhibition industry and gradually forming five major regional clusters: the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, the Bohai Rim, the Northeast, and the Midwest. In this context, analyzing international exhibition industry management models is of significant importance for improving China's exhibition industry management and promoting high-quality development of regional exhibition industries in China.","PeriodicalId":513345,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Science Research","volume":"53 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140662840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
