A quantitative descriptive approach was used in this study. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the community and visitors using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi square test to see the relationship between respondent characteristics and public and visitor perceptions of tourist attractions. The results of the analysis of the relationship between characteristics and knowledge showed that the Asymp sig value was at age (0.407), gender (0.853), education level (0.407) and occupation (0.294). Relationship of Attitude with age (1,000), gender (0.235), education (0.176) and occupation (0.392). and the relationship of behavior to age (0.428), gender (0.113), education (0.692) and occupation with a value (0.802). For the relationship between visitor characteristics and perception, there was no significant relationship as seen in the Asymp sig value of knowledge to age (0.751), education (0.419) and occupation (0.577). relationship of attitude with age (0.785), gender (0.385), education (0.356) and occupation (0.356). Relationship of behavior with age (0.356), gender (0.828), education level (0.887) and occupation (0.175). While there is a relationship of knowledge with gender (0.040). This can be seen from the higher knowledge of tourist attractions among women compared to men.","PeriodicalId":512753,"journal":{"name":"MAKILA","volume":" 29","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141367435","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to formulate a strategy for conservation partnership development. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research was analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis, SWOT analysis, and QSPM analysis to formulate and determine the priority strategy of conservation partnerships development of NTFP utilization. This research shows that the Conservation Partnership in Manusela National Park has economic, social, and ecological impacts. Based on the SWOT matrix analysis, the strategy to develop conservation partnerships in the Manusela National Park is the Strengths and Opportunities (SO) strategy. It is implemented by optimizing its strengths and taking advantage of various existing opportunities by increasing the utilization of resin potency to create creative economic development supported by the Regional Government and mentored by the staff of Manusela National Park, increasing community participation in utilizing and preserving damar trees; and raising the implementation of conservation partnerships and stakeholder cooperation. Based on the QSPM analysis, the highest score of TAS (Total Attractive Score) is 6,35, so the priority strategy to develop conservation partnerships is increasing community participation in utilizing and preserving the resin tree.","PeriodicalId":512753,"journal":{"name":"MAKILA","volume":" 55","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141368002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method for plant data is inventory of plant types and ethnobotany to obtain plant collections, which are determined randomly (purposive random sampling). Next, the plant data obtained from interviews with the community was then ground checked. The results of the research found a diversity of types of medicinal plants at the location, 37 types of plants were recorded which were used by the local community as medicinal herbs. Plant types consist of 27 families. The Arecaceae, Euphorbiaceae, and Moraceae families are the families that have the most types of medicinal plants. The types of medicinal plants used as medicine are parts of the fruit, leaves, stems, bark and wood as well as whole plants by pounding and boiling (not using flowers).","PeriodicalId":512753,"journal":{"name":"MAKILA","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141388841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
