The structured Lickert scale questionnaire was raised from the objectives of the study and administered to the information technology and communication (ICT) unit of the sampled DMBs. The outcomes of the administered questionnaires were analyzed using the descriptive statistics and Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient. Results show that cloud accounting has a significant positive relationship with financial performance of DMBs. In addition, Information Technology Trust has a positively significant moderating effect on the relationship between cloud accounting and financial performance DMBs.  Also, the study revealed that Visualized Transaction Reporting and Self-service Transaction Reporting have significant positive relationship with productivity and profitability of DMBs. The investigation has been done to find the association between the sales-affecting variables and sales. The required data have been collected from ACI Pharma. The proposed study uses sales and five influential variables, such as promotional cost, product knowledge, target customer coverage, random customer coverage, and call consistency, to investigate the expected association. Variables have considered the average performance of 634 salespeople from July to September 2023. Salesmen in the 80-100 cluster show more productivity and obedience than others. Product knowledge and promotional cost exhibit positive correlations with sales, but customer coverage numbers, either target or random, present a negative correlation with sales. The study only shows the direction of the relation between two variables rather than the mathematical impact of variables on sales. Future studies are required based on regression analysis for statistical inference of sales-affecting variables on sales. ACI Pharma is using the research output and benefiting. Other selling-based organizations suffering from similar problems may be beneficiaries of this study. The most significant value of the study is finding the role of call consistency in the sales performance of the sales reps.","PeriodicalId":500197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of contemporary research in business, economics and finance","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141388381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings indicate that FII, the numbers of borrowers, depositors, bank branches and automated teller machines exert a significant effect on GDP per capita in sub-Saharan Africa. The Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimates further indicate that FII (which captured the combined effect of financial access and usage) exerts a negative effect on gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).  However, the results of the individual measures of financial inclusion, that is, the numbers of borrowers, depositors and banking penetration exert a positive effect on gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in the long run in sub-Saharan Africa. This portends that financial inclusion is a significant contributor that can improve sustainable living conditions in sub-Saharan Africa. Based on these, the study recommends the need to improve access to and usage of financial products and services through user-friendly and service-fluent financial technologies in sub-Saharan Africa. This will help increase the number of households, smallholder farmers and businesses to access the formal financial system to meet their reoccurring and precautionary funding needs in sub-Saharan African countries.","PeriodicalId":500197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of contemporary research in business, economics and finance","volume":"17 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140229363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted in Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria. The descriptive survey research design was used in this study. The sample included eight automobile mechanical artisans working in automobile workshops under the jurisdiction of Akure South Local Government Area, Ondo State, were chosen at random. The study found that current technical abilities in the repair of ignition systems, carburettors, including wheel balancing and alignment, are necessary for automobile mechanical apprentices to graduate as artisans and build a quality automobile mechanical firm in Akure. It was noted in the study that the establishment of modern automobile mechanical firms requires competent artisans that would apply electronic devices to diagnose the defective sections of automobile. This is a firm where youths can successfully acquire skills in automobile mechanics towards ensuring efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness of automobile. Based on the findings, recommendations were suggested.","PeriodicalId":500197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of contemporary research in business, economics and finance","volume":"54 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140230128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
