This activity is known as online volunteering. The flexible nature of online volunteering has increased interest and enthusiasm, particularly among emerging adults, motivating them to participate in such activities. However, research on this phenomenon, especially among emerging adults, is still limited. This study aims to explore the various forms of motivation among emerging adults to participate in online volunteering. A total of 205 emerging adult participants who have previously or are currently engaged in online volunteering activities are recruited to complete the Volunteer Functions Inventory adaptation scale. Descriptive analysis indicates that out of the six proposed motivation forms, Motivations related to understanding, values, and enhancement play a crucial role in motivating emerging adults to engage in online volunteering. These three motivational factors serve as the primary incentives for emerging adults to develop themselves and achieve their goals. Additionally, the study finds that emerging adults who engage in online volunteering activities for 6 months to 1 year and those who participate in environmental online volunteering exhibit higher motivation compared to those engaged in volunteering for longer durations and in other volunteer fields. Overall, this research identifies a high level of motivation among emerging adults participating in online volunteering activities, categorizing it as a significant driving factor.","PeriodicalId":498171,"journal":{"name":"Psychosophia","volume":"65 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135928652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there will be a positive correlation between religiosity and resilience in medical students. The scale used for data collection uses the Resilience Scale compiled by Bochaver et al, (2021) based on theory from Connor and Davidson (2003) and the Religiosity Scale uses the IIUM Religiosity Scale (IIUMRelS) compiled by Diana Mahudin, Noraini Noor and Mariam Adawiah Dzulkifli (Mahudin et al., 2016). The subjects used in this study were 219 medical students, male or female, with a minimum age of 18 to 25 years. The results found in this study show a correlation coefficient of r = 0.530 with a significance of p <0.001. The data obtained from this study show that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and resilience in medical students. Religiosity makes an effective contribution of 28.1% towards the resilience of medical faculty students. This concludes that the hypothesis in this study was accepted.","PeriodicalId":498171,"journal":{"name":"Psychosophia","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135928653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Transferring and promoting employees is one measure that can be taken to enhance employee performance. The mutation is anticipated to serve as the appropriate link between employees and positions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanism of employee placement and the requisite competencies at Sleman Regency Tourism Office, as well as the effect of competence and job placement on employee performance. This study employed diverse research methodologies (Mixed Method). The sample in this study was 59 civil servants, freelance daily workers, and freelancer workers at Sleman Regency Tourism Office, which was determined by using the disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instrument utilized in this investigation is subjected to validity and reliability testing. Data collected using a questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The analysis was performed by data reduction, triangulation, drawing conclusions, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The study findings indicate that partial competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The work environment has a significant and positive effect on employee performance. This is also supported by the findings of interviews, which indicate that the quality of employee performance will increase if the work placement is conducted properly and appropriately. This study demonstrates that both competence and work placement have a significant impact on performance. The R value for all Sleman Regency Tourism Office employees with a coefficient of determination is 0.500, or 50.0%.","PeriodicalId":498171,"journal":{"name":"Psychosophia","volume":"41 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135928660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
