The symbols of obedience to religion are often displayed by artists in various activities broadcasted on social media both when playing as an actor in a social media show or in their actual life that is covered on social media. The piety is shown by dressing sharia clothes, performing umrah, sponsorsing orphans program, follow Islamic sermon and others. The artist's religious expression holds the meaning, whether the motive is actually behind what is seen on social media, whether purely as part of religious obidience, or there is a religious commodification and media capitalism deliberately displayed to generate greater public viewer which subsequently increase revenue for media corporation. this study will use a phenomenological approach to understand the true meaning behind reality seen on social media. While the dramaturgy theory is used to analyze the religiousity of the artist on social media. Dramaturgy theory by Erving Goffman there is the concept of front stage and back stage. Front stage to explain the artist's visible visibility on social media, while back stage to explain the true artist's life (behind the scenes), so it can be mapped the artist's religiosity -as a religious obedience-, as part of the religious commodification or media capitalism.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the concept of halal tourism emerged in early 2010, various reactions have emerged to the development of halal tourism. This year, Indonesia won the title of Top Muslim Friendly Destination of the Year 2023 in the Mastercard Crescent Rating Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2023 in Singapore. Indonesia's halal tourism rose to number one from the previous number two. This increase is an extraordinary achievement. In 2021, Indonesia is ranked fourth and in 2022 second. As one of the regencies in Central Java located south of Mount Slamet, Banyumas has many natural tourist destinations. Diversity of tourism such as nature tourism, religious tourism, to educational tourism is available in Banyumas. The beauty of this tourism can be seen from the number of tourists both from within and outside the region who visit. The increase in Muslim tourists is an opportunity and challenge to improve the tourism sector in Banyumas. This research uses qualitative research methods. This qualitative research method is used as a research procedure that produces descriptive data. This research concludes that Banyumas Regency as one of the regencies in Central Java Province is known to have tourism potential that is very potential to be developed. The development of halal tourism in Banyumas still has many challenges, namely air transportation access is not yet available. Tourism destinations are not yet evenly distributed, many are concentrated in the Baturraden area. Facilities and infrastructure supporting tourism activities still need to be improved in quality and quantity. Tourism attractions are less varied. There have not been many promotional events carried out related to halal tourism. In addition to the challenges, there are certainly many opportunities for halal tourism in Banyumas, namely the strength of the natural and geographical conditions of Banyumas Regency, which is dominated by a fairly large mountainous area. There are many waterfalls and other water tourism attractions. Location on the South Java crossing route. There are several destinations with religious nuances.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach through secondary data tracing in the annual reports of zakat management organizations, journals, books and the official website of OPZ in Indonesia. The results showed that most of the OPZ had implemented the GAG principles thoroughly. In addition, the problem of inefficiency in the distribution of zakat in Indonesia has been overcome by the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) through the issuance of the decision of the chairman of BAZNAS No. 33 of 2019 through identification of the Mustahik Identification Number (NIM). This research is expected to have implications for improving the application of governance and coordination of zakat distribution by OPZ in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To answer these problems, this paper uses a case approach method, as well as a conceptual approach. The results of this study can be concluded that parenting is a capital for children to reach the maturity process. Family is the first social environment that individuals encounter since they were born into the world. The first family environment is the father, mother and the individual himself. The relationship between the individual and his parents is a reciprocal relationship where there is interaction in it. So it is proper as a good parent to be able to apply parenting that will form a good child's personality starting from an early age. The influence of increasingly sophisticated digital technology also has an impact on sexual violence against children, so parents are also required to monitor addictive behavior related to digital technology and prevent negative impacts due to long-term use of digital devices. Suggestions for parents to need to determine the right parenting pattern and improve the quality and quantity of communication with children and have a good trusting relationship so that the problem of sexual abuse behavior in children can be overcome and avoided.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343256","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Overall, the study contributes towards filling the enormous gap in the literature on begging in Muslim communities in Ghana and adds other dimensions to the phenomenon of both child and adult begging in general demonstrating the complexity and different facades of the phenomenon. The methodology employed was qualitative, whilst structured interview as a method was used in gathering the necessary information needed for this article. In discussing the findings, the article analyses how this practice works and seeks to gain insight into the interrelationships of the children with their adult partners both at the family levels and at the street level as well as the implications of these interrelationships on the level of agency and vulnerability of the children involved. More importantly, the article highlights the experiences and voices of beggars by looking at the economic realities and the role Islam plays alleviating the plights of beggars. It also highlights the processes that lead to the manifestation of the phenomenon as we see it; that is, why are children used as partners and not adults, and how that is influenced and shaped by power relations and the society’s understanding of what is right and wrong for the child.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The existence of these statutory regulations provides a sense of certainty for every customer in carrying out financing and savings activities at Islamic financial institutions. However, not all Islamic financial institutions are registered as members of deposit insurance institutions. One of them is an Islamic financial institution, Baitul Maal Wal Tamwil (BMT). Whereas in the Baitul Maal Wal Tamwil (BMT) there is customers' money that must be ensured for their savings deposits. Baitul Maal Wal Tamwil (BMT) Assyafi'yah, for example, in his financial reports from 2019 to 2021 has a large amount, in 2019 with a total deposit of Rp. 14,790,416,786, in 2020 with a total deposit of Rp.15,494,878,688, and in 2021 with a total deposit of Rp. 15,900,496,978. From the data above, it can be seen that in Baitul Maal Wal Tamwil (BMT) Assyafi'yah itself, the number of customer deposits increases every year but are still not registered as a deposit insurance institution. This qualitative study through a normative-philosophical approach aims to identify and explore the dimensions of multicultural Islamic education values in the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council of East Java Province Number. 06 of 2022 concerning Da'wah Ethics in the Digital Era. The theory of multicultural Islamic education conceptualized by Azyumardi Azra becomes the theory of analysis of the subject matter of this study. Data analysis through reduction, presentation, and verification. This study shows the content of multicultural Islamic education values in legal provisions related to da'wah ethics in the dital room in the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council of East Java Province, including the value of humanism education in the prohibition of the delivery of da'wah content that spreads hatred and insults even for the reason of amar makruf nahi munkar. Then, the value of tasamuh education in the recommendation of delivering pluralist da'wah content, which is able to respect Islamic beliefs that are still being debated. Furthermore, the value of peace education in advocating the delivery of nationalist da'wah content. Next, the value of wasatiyah education in recommending the delivery of da'wah content that maintains public conduciveness and stability. The theoretical implications of this study affirm that the mainstreaming of multicultural Islamic educational values can be internalized through religious social fatwas in Indonesia, as well as fatwas related to da'wah ethics in the digital space.","PeriodicalId":488429,"journal":{"name":"Ijtimā'iyya","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135343538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
