This is especially relevant when analyzing the healthcare system since the supply chain must be flexible and resistant to unforeseen events; the best example is the Covid-19 situation. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the main focus in the health care system is and must be directed to the user of the service, i.e. the client/patient, the satisfaction of his needs, which means that the service provided must meet the client’s expectations. This article will examine how consumers perceive the services they receive in certain healthcare facilities. A standardized quality assessment questionnaire, Servqual, was used for data collection. The results are processed using statistical research methods. The results are expected to help analyze the critical points of the health system’s service supply chain, thereby improving service delivery quality.","PeriodicalId":484485,"journal":{"name":"11th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2020”","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135382857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The evaluation found a positive correlation between government spending to transport infrastructure, employment level, and freight transportation by road, railway and economic growth. Regression analyses showed that in 2019 the impact of logistics industry and economic growth of EU-27 countries insignificant, and in 2020 – statistically significant between public expenditure, employment rate in EU-27 economies. This study also found that some variables, such as the length of rail freight and transportation by air did not have a significant impact on economic growth of EU-27 during pandemics.","PeriodicalId":484485,"journal":{"name":"11th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2020”","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135527297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although various welfare programs have been introduced, most matured to more mainstream economic consideration – Universal Basic Income (UBI). Purpose of the article – to analyse UBI economic and social preconditions. Tasks of the article: analyse the scientific literature and statistic data on UBI implementation based on economic and social aspects, discuss emerging questions and trials around the world. Research question: universality of the UBI model in differently economically developed countries.","PeriodicalId":484485,"journal":{"name":"11th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2020”","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135527732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The essence of the concept of circularity, proposed in the 1960s by the American economist Kenneth E. Boulding (Boulding, 1966), is to turn end-of-life goods into resources for others by closing the cycles in industrial ecosystems and minimizing waste. Even though many studies have been carried out, there is still a rather fragmented, unclear basis for measuring and assessing circular economy performance when applying it in the business field. Therefore, the purpose of this article is, after examining a procedure for assessing circular economy in business field, to systemise sustainability assessment methods and measurement indicators in SMEs. The results of the study demonstrate how management methods such as the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle are linked to the effectiveness of using circular economy-based measurement via clearly set procedures and indicators.","PeriodicalId":484485,"journal":{"name":"11th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2020”","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135528027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
