Vocational school students are prepared to learn skills so that graduates have the qualifications expected by the world of work according to their respective fields. In this case, Vocational High Schools can adjust the industrial work culture so that students, when they graduate, can adjust the fields studied appropriately. This research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation methods in this research. The data analysis technique uses the triangulation test. From the research results, seven students could get good car service, and one student did not do well. In implementing the 5R/S work culture, eight students all did well. Time to complete the work: 2 students completed over 60 minutes, and six students under 60 minutes. With these results, special treatment is needed, namely doing a lot of car service work regularly, to improve the results obtained. This work takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes to complete for industry standards.","PeriodicalId":484153,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Instructional","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136360009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research method is quantitative Research. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaire and documentation methods. Data analysis uses validation tests, reliability tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the F-count of 93.931 was greater than the F-table by 4.00. The significance of F by 0.002 was smaller than the α of 0.05, so the study results could be concluded that the variable learning outcomes of the SMAW subject had a significant effect on the variable of entrepreneurial interest of students. The results showed an R-value of 0.834, meaning that the relationship between the learning outcomes of Manual Arc Welding (SMAW) subjects and the entrepreneurial interest of students at SMK Negeri 1 Udanawu, Blitar Regency was very strong. This level of relationship can be categorized as a very strong relationship. This can be seen from the correlation value of 0.834 and the coefficient value between 0.800-1.000, which states the level of a very strong relationship. The value of the coefficient of determination is 71.5%, while the remaining 28.5% is influenced by other independent variables that were not studied in this study.","PeriodicalId":484153,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Instructional","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135587004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted using a systematic mapping method in 4 stages: (1) searching articles using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application in the Scopus database, (2) classifying articles for bibliometric analysis, (3) checking and filling in article metadata and (4) conducting bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer application. The results of the bibliometric analysis yielded 5 findings, as follows: (1) the trend of publication of critical thinking skills has fluctuated from 2011-2020; (2) the ten most contributing journals have published 46 articles up to 2020; (3) the ten most cited articles resulted in 669 citations; (4) The four highest order keywords that are most widely used in critical thinking skills articles are critical thinking abilities, thinking abilities and students; (5) There are 6 writers who research critical thinking skills the most but have not seen collaboration between the 6 writers; It can be concluded that student critical thinking abilities in the world of education are being researched even though they have fluctuated over the last 10 years.","PeriodicalId":484153,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Instructional","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136035635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to studies, there are not enough secondary-level instructors in Bangladesh who are proficient in using digital technologies for instruction. The purpose of this research was to explore options for updating the teacher education curriculum by filling up any gaps found in the development of ICT-Pedagogy integration abilities. In this study, the TPACK framework was utilized to pinpoint curriculum gaps, and a mixed-method approach was used to achieve the study's goals. The curriculum was first examined to find any deficiencies, and then key informant interviews looked at potential updates to the curriculum that might fill those gaps. The study discovered a lack of proper teaching-learning methods and assessment, as well as clear objectives and topics on ICT and pedagogy integration. The study promoted a few approaches for teacher skill upgrades to improve their ability to teach with ICT.","PeriodicalId":484153,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Instructional","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136035629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
