Our analysis is based on a global collection of studies conducted across diverse regions including Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions. Systematically reviewing the literature, we identified a substantial body of primary studies exploring the relationship between ethical leadership and individual-level organizational performance within the timeframe of 2011 to 2021. These studies span across 28 countries, with select studies encompassing multiple countries, contributing to a total of 86 studies and 127 effect sizes, collectively involving 53,761 individuals. Our findings reveal a significant positive association between ethical leadership and heightened organizational performance. Notably, our analysis indicates that this relationship remains consistent and robust across diverse cultural contexts, as culture does not moderate the observed connection.","PeriodicalId":477004,"journal":{"name":"Sachetas","volume":"362 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135824727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The country has experienced economic consequences as a result of the coronavirus and subsequent lockdown measures. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is a price-weighted stock market index that tracks 30 major companies listed on US stock exchanges. While the DJIA is a widely recognized equity index, some professionals argue that it may not provide a comprehensive representation of the overall US stock market compared to larger indices such as the S&P 500 or Russell 2000 Index. This study aims to assess the impact of the stock market shutdown caused by COVID-19. Specifically, it investigates the extent to which the lockdown measures have affected the US stock market and whether there are any differences in market reactions before and after the onset of the pandemic. By comparing the performance of the DJIA index before and after COVID-19, the study aims to uncover the level of influence experienced.","PeriodicalId":477004,"journal":{"name":"Sachetas","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136042891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"EXPLORING THE EVOLUTION OF FINANCIAL LITERACY AND INVESTMENT: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE PAST DECADES’ ACADEMIC LITERATURE","authors":"Sushma V, Vinay Joshi","doi":"10.55955/230001","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55955/230001","url":null,"abstract":"Purpose: Several exploratory, conceptual, and empirical studies on investing behaviour and financial literacy have been undertaken in economics, finance, psychology, business, and management. However, no attempt has been undertaken thus far to offer a full scientific mapping of the area. As a result, the study attempts to elicit the tendency in the scientific sector via the synthesising of information structures. Design & Methodology: A bibliometric study of 420 papers in the area on financial literacy as well as investments research was conducted using a scientific search method ran on the scopus database from 2002 to 2022. The study made use of Biblioshiny, a web-based application contained in the Bibliometrix package written in R (Ariaa and Cuccurullo, 2017). Using the software's automated process, notable journals, authors, nations, articles, and topics were discovered, and citation, co-citation, and social network analyses were performed. Findings: The findings indicate that the topics of financial literacy with investment have grown through time as a multidisciplinary discipline. In addition to the conceptual structure, the present study discloses the domain's intellectual and social structure. This study sheds light on issues that require additional exploration. Research Limitations: Because the current study is a bibliometric analysis, the limitations associated with such studies apply. A comprehensive study of the literature might be beneficial for future scholars in developing a robust conceptual framework. The Scopus database was used for this study because it has a greater coverage of high-quality publications in structured forms that are compatible with the Bibliometrix programme. The quality and extent of the current literature limit the scope of the review. The methodology and populations analysed in the papers that make up the review differ, limiting the ability to be generalised of the findings. Practical Implications: The current study sheds light on financial literacy, investments, and their interrelationships. It emphasises the most addressed challenges in the field and points to potential study opportunities. It educates future scholars about emerging topics, settings, and cooperation opportunities in this field by showing the domain's social and intellectual structure. Social Implications: The review has important social implications, as investment has significant implications for individual and societal welfare. Improving financial literacy and investment behavior can enhance financial well-being, reduce inequality, and promote economic growth. Originality/Value: This study gives a detailed summary of existing financial literacy and investment information on global Level. The study synthesises a wide range of studies, finds similar patterns, and offers insights into the variables influencing investing behaviour.","PeriodicalId":477004,"journal":{"name":"Sachetas","volume":"235 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135804657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We cannot make a life selling truth anymore. They are instantly accessible with the click of a mouse\" (Firenstein, 2013). Despite information technology's long history as a major field of study, the last decade has seen a dramatic shift in the field's focus due to the rise of the Internet. To account for the dramatic developments across both technologies and their settings, many researchers have investigated and presented models and theories of technology adoption to anticipate and explicate user behaviour with technology. Most of these theories and models were created in the United States, and each one proposes a unique collection of determinants and moderators. Thus, it is questioned if the models and theories of technology acceptance developed, adapted, and extended in the United States are applicable in other nations, particularly India. Additionally, it is speculated that other potential determinants and moderators may also play significant roles in this setting. This paper (1) reviewed literature in regards to prominent theories and models; (2) reviewed previous literature about IT acceptance and usage within four contexts of study; and (3) concluded that using the Internet helps in improving academics' professional practices. In the research model, there are five main factors that influence usage and up to nine others that moderate important associations. Perceived utility, perceived ease of use, and self-efficacy were found to be the most important factors in determining usage behaviour in the classroom. Usefulness and self-efficacy were two primary characteristics that strongly predicted usage behaviour across different activities. In conclusion, usage patterns were a major factor in shaping future behaviour. Key drivers of using behaviour were also moderated by three factors: age, e-university plan, and reading and writing proficiency. There were just two moderators that affected the impact of usage behaviour on behaviour intention, and those were age and intended university research. Gender, degree of education, academic rank, years of experience, and fluency in India had no effect on the impact of the major determinants on usage behaviour, and usage behaviour had no effect on the impact of the intention to change. Practitioners may benefit from a deeper familiarity with the model in order to better understand the factors contributing to users' reluctance to adopt the technology and to develop more effective strategies for boosting its widespread adoption and use.","PeriodicalId":477004,"journal":{"name":"Sachetas","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135804855","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
