The superior isolates out of twelve cyanobacterial isolates, which isolated from soil contaminated with insecticides were Nostoc muscorum and Anabaena oryzae . Results indicated that an increase in dry weight and N 2 fixation was recorded with increasing chlorpyrifos concentration from 0 up to150 ppm. These results were noted with Anabaena oryzae . On the other hand, there was an increase in the average of dry weight and N 2 fixation with increasing the concentration of carbofuran from zero up to 80 ppm. The highest nitrogen content was recorded in Nostoc muscorum. The biodegradation of the pesticide (chlorpyrifos and carbofuran in liquid cultures) by cyanobacterial isolates was evidenced by complete discoloration of cyanobacterial growth at 12 days of incubation. The fixed nitrogen and dry weight of Anabaena oryza e and Nostoc muscorum grown at different concentrations of chlorpyrifos (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200) and different temperature degrees (20,25,30 and 35°C) as well as different pH levels (5, 6, 7 and 8) were determined. Results indicated that the maximum uptake of chlorpyrifos by Anabaena oryzae and Nostoc muscorum was recorded at 30°C and pH 7.0. Moreover, the maximum removal of carbofuran by Anabaena oryza e and Nostoc muscorum at different concentrations (0, 40, 80 and 120) was recorded at 25°C and pH 7.0","PeriodicalId":475818,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Agricultural Chemistry and Biotechnology (Print)","volume":"57 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135431440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Line2, Giza171 and Sakha94 were extracted. Ten IRAP primers were applied for detecting the rule of salinity stress in activation of retrotransposition rate in the studied bread wheat genotypes. The wheat genotypes were irrigated with 100 mM, 150 mM and 200 mM of NaCl or distilled water for control. IRAP technique developed all the ten markers in the wheat under the different levels of salinity. IRAP-2175 primer showed a number of new bands with molecular weights ranged from 400 bp to 550 bp giving a new retrotransposition locations due to the treatment with different concentrations of salinity. The second primer (IRAP-2198) revealed that bands with molecular sizes ranged from 470 bp to 1160 bp obtained a new retrotransposition appearance. The third IRAP marker was revealed by the IRAP-2197 primer with molecular sizes of 215 bp to 342 bp under all the three levels of salinity. The results revealed different patterns between control and treatments and the high levels of salinity led to new retrotransposition. This study revealed that PCR technique; like IRAP can reflect the activation of retrotransposition due to high salt levels. The obtained results were encouraging and it is better to use this technique due to their advantage; easy, fast, cheap and effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":475818,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Agricultural Chemistry and Biotechnology (Print)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135259641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to create genetic diversity, chemical mutagens such as; Ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS), Ethidium bromide (EtBr) and Sodium azide (SA) were used to mutagenize the plant's germplasm. The present study was carried out to determine how these chemicals affected the Mitotic Index (MI) and phase, chromosomal abnormalities, and frequency of micronuclei in the root tip cells of A. cepa Mutagens, in general, alter the genetic structure of the organisms, which is reflected in changes to a variety of features. Further, the genome's sensitivity was discovered through cytological examination when the three mutagens were used. The chromosomal entity was impacted by a variety of clastogenic and nonclastogenic alterations, as well as mitodepressive effects. The increase in dose/concentration of all the mutagens was shown to increase the frequency of both mitotic aberrant cells and mitotic chromosomal abnormalities in the treated root tip cells. Both chemical mutagens were shown to be less effective than EtBr at disrupting mitotic cell activity and primarily causing clastogenic chromosomal abnormalities. Numerous chromosomal aberrations, including stickiness and clumping of chromosomes with varying frequencies, fragments, laggards, bridges, precocious movements, micronuclei formation at telophases, and multipolar anaphases and telophases, were reported to be present in the mitotic aberrant cells. The samples of water were collected from different sites during 2012 /2013 in order to determine and identify the bacterial isolates. In addition, certain physical and chemical parameters like temperature, pH, turbidity, electrical conductivity, total of some chemicals (hardness, partial hardness, calcium, magnesium, calcium hardness, magnesium hardness, SO 4 , silica, iron, manganese, aluminum, phosphoras, ammonia), Nitrite, Nitrate and Chlorides were determined to evaluate quality of Nile, ground and tap water at five sites namely: Tanta, Elmehala-Elkobra, Mehalt Abo Ali, Samanod and Mehalt-Roh. In a previous study at 2016 about 60 bacterial isolates were detected on selective media after isolation from the three sources of drinking water. These bacterial isolates were belonging to genera: Staphylococcus, Aeromonas, Proteus, Serratia and Pantoea. In this study, the Vitek Microbial system was used for identified the bacterial genera speices as: Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila, Proteus mirabilis, Serratia plymythica and Pantoea agglomerans . The physical and chemical analyses showed that water qualities of three water sources are convenient for both aquatic life and domestic purposes as the normal range within a River Nile and tap water but in ground water are different.","PeriodicalId":475818,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Agricultural Chemistry and Biotechnology (Print)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135690981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These pesticide pollute the environment. Cyanobacteria can be used to get rid of pesticides such as carbofuran able to remove from agricultural fields. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to assess the biodegradation of the carbofuran by Anabaena oryzae and Nostoc muscorum these are cyanobacterial strains in the rice fields which polluted by this insecticide. For determination of biodegradation carbofuran, nitrogen fixation rate, dry weight formation, total count of cyanobacteria, absorbance measurements by spectrophotometer in addition gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) used to perform carbofuran, residues. The data showed the ability of cyanobacteria to degrade all components of carbofuran by cyanobacteria and the mixture of Nostoc muscorum and Anabaena oryzae had improved in dry weight and increased the nitrogen fixation in environment. Furthermore, the growth and yield for rice plant after inoculation with the mixture treatment from cyanobacterial strains were increased compared to the control.
