The model promoted self-directed problem-solving concerning transition-related goals and career development. The TRIO model contained three instructional phases for problem-solving. Throughout the three phases, three essential elements were determined in the transition curriculum for the self-directed learning process, including transition-specific curriculum, self-determination instructions, and the circle of support. 79 junior high school students participated in this study doing group assignments. They were split into the experimental group (n = 36) with the TRIO instruction and the control group (n = 43). Scores on the Career Planning and Development Questionnaire before and after the intervention were analyzed. The results indicated that the experimental group showed significantly higher scores than the control group on the overall career competency and each sub-domain, and the patterns of score change were different between the experimental and control groups when applying the hierarchical linear model (HLM).","PeriodicalId":475351,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"53 47","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140230957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such teaching aids often lacked practical operation and game-experiential learning methods, which were less likely to arouse children’s interest in learning. Thus, we designed a set of teaching aids for teaching young children to understand the human digestive tract and low-carbonate (low-carbon) diet. The teaching aids had the interchangeable appearance of a robot detective and an ambulance. They contained the four digestive tract games: the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. The dynamic game design that simulated the function of the digestive tract, combined with low-carbon diet board games, provided young children with learning in a playful context. The results showed that the teaching aids had advantages, including adaptive learning effects and fun games, enhancing learning motivation and interactive operation, and lightweight and environmentally friendly materials. More extensive teaching applications and follow-up research were recommended in the future.","PeriodicalId":475351,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":" 1084","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138960270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China expressed strong dissatisfaction, triggering the 4th Taiwan Strait Crisis. We investigated the differences in the frameworks constructed by the news media and the public opinion about the “event of Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan”. Semantics and “public opinions” associated with the report contents of Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan were analyzed using the online news media of major newspapers in Taiwan, as well as the social media PTT Gossiping. The Python programming language was used for web crawling, and the word frequency database snowNLP in Python was adopted as a sentiment analysis tool. The research results showed that the emphasis of different media in different periods was slightly different. The topics of netizens in PTT Gossiping were often affected by the topic framework of the news media. However, the public developed their discussion topics. News media reports did not have a framing effect on the emotional changes of common words used by the public about the issues.","PeriodicalId":475351,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"106 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138599906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The result of this research was filed for an invention patent and won the Gold Medal in the International Invention Competition. We analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of commercially available tents and conducted quantitative research to understand the effectiveness of the products. In the quantitative research, a self-written questionnaire was created and tested for reliability and validity. 34 research subjects were invited to use traditional backpacks and innovative “innovative multi-functional teaching toys inside and outside the tent” and fill out a questionnaire. The result was analyzed to understand the new products.","PeriodicalId":475351,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135084514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
