To evaluate the effect on the sense of unity, experiment was conducted on the sense of body ownership, sense of agency, psychological distance, and likeability. In the experiment, three conditions were tested: Condition in which experimental participants move but plant do not (No Movement: NM), Condition under which the plant also move in synchronization with the movements of the experiment participants (Synchronous Movement: SM), and Condition that the plant behaves randomly regardless of the behavior of the experimental participant (Random Movement: RM). Participants in the experiment were asked whether they were currently growing plants, and were divided into two groups: those who were growing plants and those who were not. The results of the experiment confirmed that, regardless of whether the plants were cultivated or not, the movement of the plant in sync with the movement of the human body increased the sense of agency, likeability, and brought the participants closer psychologically to the plant. However, the effect on the sense of body ownership was limited.","PeriodicalId":471829,"journal":{"name":"Nihon Kansei Kogakkai ronbunshi","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135159503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clarified if there was a difference. As a result, it was found that there were many points of occurrence of laugh tracks caused by the major category item “mixture of reality and fiction” in China with a significant difference. In terms of small classification items, the United States has a relatively higher ratio of “insertion of real things into topics,” “logic justifying strange obsessions,” and “serious discussion of fiction” compared to China. In China, the ratio of “exaggeration”, “becoming serious after being lied to”, “lieping and making mistakes”, “strange proposal”, and “successful operation” was shown to be relatively high.","PeriodicalId":471829,"journal":{"name":"Nihon Kansei Kogakkai ronbunshi","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136207674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous studies have shown that mildness is one of the most required attributes for Japanese men today. Since young men tend to be highly interested in cosmetics, the cognitive model would help them enhance facial mildness through cosmetics. Ten trained participants rated 34 impressions in 32 facial images of men aged from 20 to 34. Factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed on the rating data. As a result, mildness was predicted positively by cleanliness and liveliness, with cleanliness being the main predictor. Further, dullness around the mouth was the main negative predictor of cleanliness, and the strong appearance of the eyes was the main positive predictor of liveliness. These results showed a cognitive model representing that facial mildness is judged mainly by cleanliness, and cleanliness is mainly judged by dullness around the mouth.","PeriodicalId":471829,"journal":{"name":"Nihon Kansei Kogakkai ronbunshi","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135159242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The colors of the clothing of characters in picture books and the words they utter reveal characteristics of gender expression. The results showed that gender and age were among the most prominent characteristics in depicting characters in picture books, with red used more frequently for females and less bright shades for males. The proportion of colorful colors was higher among children, and the ratio of achromatic colors increased with age. These results are consistent with previous studies on color images and the evolution of color preferences with age. In the text, it was found that the differences between men and women in the way they perceive things are reflected in the text. These results suggest that picture books may influence the formation of children’s gender images and color preferences.","PeriodicalId":471829,"journal":{"name":"Nihon Kansei Kogakkai ronbunshi","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136373084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, in the black Roiro (polished black color) finish, a coating film with low light scattering and a strong sense of blackness was evaluated as “blackness” and “glossiness.” The black lacquer coating film in the Roiro finish is assumed to be an effect of the top-sliding process using Japanese Urushi in the lacquer coating process.","PeriodicalId":471829,"journal":{"name":"Nihon Kansei Kogakkai ronbunshi","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136373565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
