In 26 patients, Traumel was used in the postoperative period, and in 20 only antibiotic prophylaxis was used. The postoperative period in all women proceeded without complications. Thus, in this study, we aimed to assess spatial patterns, and determinants of early age sexual initiation among reproductive women to provide information for the policymakers. Methods: We used cross-sectional data from the 2005-2016 EDHS. We considered all nine regions and two city administrations. We applied multi-level logistic regression for determinants and spatial analysis for their distribution. We used a p-value of less than0.25 to include variables before modeling and a p-value less than0.05 with 95 Percentage CI to declare association. Results: The trend prevalence of early sexual initiation was decreased from 72.90 Percentage to 66.95 Percentage from 2005 to 2016 over the three surveys. Amhara, Afar, Tigray, Benshangul, and Gambella region were hotspots in all 2005, 2011, and 2016 surveys. Eastern Oromia,and Somali had hotspot in 2016 survey. Age, marital status, education, ever had chewed khat, region, and residence were significantly associated with early sexual initiation among reproductive age women. Conclusion: Although we saw decreased early sexual initiation over the three surveys, the problem remained profound in the country and factors like age, marital status, education, ever chewed khat, region, and residence were associated. Enlightening access to education, promotion, and behavioral change among substance users and early marriage were forwarded for improvement by the team to the region holding the problem like in Amhara, Tigray, Afar, and Beneshangul regions.","PeriodicalId":438992,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Gynaecology and Breast","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125534111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thiamineis one such micronutrient. Pregnantwomen have greaterrisk of deficiency. Research continues. Objectives: Study was conducted to know effects of high dose Thiamine ‘Megathiamine’ for prevention of pregnancy specific disorders, better maternal neonatal outcome so as to be able to use knowledge for maternal - neonatal health promotion even with limited resources as Thiamine does not cost much. Material Methods Study subjects were women with 14±2 weeks pregnancy who presented for prenatal care, had no medical, obstetric disorder at inclusion in study, no contraindication to Thiamine. End point was one week beyond birth. Study subjects,1200 women were divided into two Groups A, B. Each arm with 600 women was given Megathiamine or Placebo in triple blinded way. Women who received Megathiamine or Placebo (known only to pharmacologist not part of care providers ) were followed, up to one week post birth till there were 500 births in each arm . Results After completion of study and analysis of results, decoding revealed that anaemia was almost in double numbers in women who received Megathiamine than those who received Placebo(10 vs 5), Oligohydramnios, Fetal Growth Restriction(FGR) and Hypertensive Diseasesof Pregnancy (HDsP) were not different in both groups.In Megathaimine grouppreterm births and LBW were more than placebo 55 (38.4Percentage) vs 44 (33.88Percentage), respectively in Megathaimine, placebo groups. Admissions to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) were more is Megathaimine group comparedto Placebo (45 (0.9Percentage) vs 23 (4.6Percentage). Conclusion Present study revealedthat Megathiamine had no benefitto mother or baby. This study was conducted with the aim of following the report of a case of tongue cancer diagnosed during pregnancy. In this study, a 34-year-old woman who was in the 18th week of her first pregnancy noticed an aphthous lesion on her tongue and then developed pain and swelling in her neck and mouth. After biopsy of the lesion, squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue was diagnosed. For this patient, it was decided to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy after cesarean section in the 33rd week of pregnancy. The treatment for the patient resulted in iodine and the malignant tumor was reduced. 3 years after the completion of the treatment and with follow-up at regular intervals, there is still no sign of disease recurrence in the individual. Therefore, in addition to more investigations in this field and obtaining more results, it seems that follow-up at regular intervals can be a suitable solution to prevent the recurrence of the disease.","PeriodicalId":438992,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Gynaecology and Breast","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128971000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
