However, literature on social entrepreneurship is not as developed as the one for commercial entrepreneurship. Interestingly, there is almost no research linking perceptual variables and their influence on a person to become a social entrepreneur. Moreover, there is a gap in female social entrepreneurship literature. This paper strives to fill in the aforementioned gaps in literature as it investigates which perceptual variables are of influence on the likelihood of a woman to become a social entrepreneur, working with a sample of 49 countries used from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) database. The surface water samples were analyzed for general water quality parameters and metals.
