One alternative so that learning Indonesian is not boring is to use the method of reading the Survey Question Read Recite Recall (SQ3R). SQ3R reading method is a reading method to find main ideas and supporting main ideas. This study aims to determine the response and influence of the SQ3R reading method in learning Indonesian language announcement text material on student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The population and sample are fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bendungan with a total of 34 students. The sample was divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sampling technique used a questionnaire and a test which was analyzed descriptively and using the t test. Analysis of the questionnaire data from 14 students showed that 84.1% of students had a positive response to the SQ3R method. The results of the t-test show that tcount ≥ ttable (t2,848 ≥ t2,074 ) so that H1 is accepted. Control N-gain Experimental N-gain (0.57 0.69) means that there is a difference in student learning outcomes with the SQ3R reading method and lectures. So, students responded positively to the SQ3R reading method and this method had an effect on student learning outcomes.","PeriodicalId":427057,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementary Education Research","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122970135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This can be seen from the percentage of completeness which is only 24%. For this reason, it is necessary to improve learning. The first step that was chosen was to use the Length unit Conversion ladder media. The purpose of this study was to improve student achievement in learning Mathematics for length unit conversion material using the Conversion Ladder media. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SDIT Al Akhyar. This research went through two cycles. The research phase of each cycle is carried out starting from planning, implementation, observation, data collection, and reflection. The results of the implementation are evaluated in the reflection as the basis for improvement plans in the next cycle. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in students' ability to convert length units from pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The average value in pre-cycle was only 53.10, cycle 1 increased to 68.96 and cycle 2 became 88.27. The percentage of completeness of students increased from 24% or 7 students who experienced completeness in the pre-cycle, to 55% (16 students) in cycle 1 and 83% or 24 students who completed learning in cycle 2. These findings indicate that the use of ladder media conversion can improve learning outcomes in learning Mathematics in the length unit material.","PeriodicalId":427057,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementary Education Research","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114338521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of social capital in developing superior educational institutions in the local area. The object of the study is an educational institution founded by Muslimat NU Branch Kudus, namely SD Muslimat NU Superior. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, researchers used a single case analysis technique (single case design). The analysis process is carried out simultaneously with data collection through several stages through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. The results show that building and managing social capital appropriately is able to build superior institutions in a faster time. The three main elements of social capital are: trust, which is built from exemplary moral education, knowledge and skills. The manifestation of this trust is the formation of the suggestion “My School is My Home.”; networks (networks are built based on communication, involvement and coordination; while shared values are based on discipline, hard work, togetherness, simplicity, independence, patience and tolerance which are the elaboration of the values contained in Aswaja.","PeriodicalId":427057,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementary Education Research","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121782530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, most student learning outcomes still do not meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Therefore, learning must be able to facilitate student involvement in studying the material, share ideas with each other, and be able to consider the most appropriate answers in learning so that learning outcomes are achieved optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the material of measuring angles using the Numbered Head Together learning method. This research is a classroom action research following the design of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDIT Al Akhyar in semester 2 of the 2017/2018 academic year, totaling 27 students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques. The indicator of research success is achieved if eighty percent (80%) of students reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) which is 75. The results show that the percentage of completeness of students' KKM scores is 33.33% (pre-cycle) to 76.67% (cycle I) then to 81.48% (cycle II). The test results in the second cycle showed that 81.48% of students reached the KKM so that the research could be stopped until the second cycle because it had reached the indicators of research success. This means that the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.","PeriodicalId":427057,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementary Education Research","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126784421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
