To produce quality software we resort to the testing. About three decades ago, testing consumed more than 50% of the total time and cost expended in the development of the software which still exists today. The main reason behind the fact is that software development is mostly done by humans. We cannot develop software which needs not to be updated in its lifespan. As the software evolves the testing process should also evolve with it. This paper presents concept of Software Testing and also focuses on the burning research issues in Software Testing.","PeriodicalId":396159,"journal":{"name":"ICACSE 2019: Proceedings","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127764992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Now a day’s almost everyone is using internet, for different purposes. Some users use for online transaction, some use for sending and receiving mails etc. generally people are not so much aware what an attacker can do with their personal or confidential data whatever they use on internet. Here the focus is on some possible vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by an attacker and he can get benefits from it.

The proposed approach is based on that as an input website folder name will be asked, and then a list of vulnerabilities present in the website will be displayed and also the patches will be provided to these vulnerabilities. The best part of this approach is it provides list of vulnerabilities category wise and also show the vulnerable page name of the website. In this research work the focus is on how to detect vulnerabilities present in a website and how we can patch these vulnerabilities by running scripts only without any manual investigation.","PeriodicalId":396159,"journal":{"name":"ICACSE 2019: Proceedings","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125461907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study presents the Information and Communication technology enabled modeling of safe distance for road vehicles approaching at Indian unmanned railway level crossings. The purpose of study is the computation and analysis of the speed breaker distance to provide a safer distance to road vehicles arriving towards the unmanned railway level crossings. Information and Communication Technology i.e. integrated GPS, GIS; sensor-based data collection was done from 19 unmanned railway level crossings on Shahdara-Shamli-Tapri railway route. The ‘speed breaker distance from crossing’ modeling and validation has been performed using regression analysis in IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0. The sensitivity analysis results indicated that, the perception and reaction time is the most contributing factor for speed breaker distance from crossing determination. The accidents are predicted to decrease 17% (approx.) with developed ‘speed breaker distance from crossing’ model. Therefore, the scope of the work lies in road user safety at unmanned railway level crossings.","PeriodicalId":396159,"journal":{"name":"ICACSE 2019: Proceedings","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124246642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hunger for faster performance is never satisfied. We always want improvements in productivity, security, multitasking, game performance, data protection and many more capabilities. So the demand for faster performance moved manufacturers towards multi-core processors. A multi-core processor has two or more processing cores mounted on the same chip. These multiple cores process simultaneously on lower frequency to increase the processor’s capability in efficient manner. With the help of multithreaded applications, parallelism is increased. Applications or algorithms must be designed in such a way, so that it can harness the real power of multi-core technology. Software developers and researchers must write or rewrite the algorithms that can achieve a high level of parallelism and overall high performance. In this paper, we discuss about multi-core technology and role of parallelism to achieve the performance gain.","PeriodicalId":396159,"journal":{"name":"ICACSE 2019: Proceedings","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116645223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But the early and accurate detection of disease is still a challenge due to the complex, incomplete and multidimensional healthcare data. Data preprocessing is an essential step of ML whose primary goal is to provide processed data to improve the prediction accuracy. This study summarizes the popular data preprocessing steps based on their usages, popularity and literature. After that the selected preprocessing methods is applied on the raw data which is then used by classifiers for predictions. In this experiment we have taken diabetes classification problem. Type II diabetes mellitus(T2DM) is a major disease with high penetrance in human around the world and still rising. This may cause other serious complications like kidney failure, heart failure, blindness etc. The early detection and diagnosis help to identify and may avoid these complications. Several classification algorithms exist but selecting the best classifier surely improves the accuracy of the predictions. The preprocessing methods selected in this study are Multiple Imputation, k-means for missing values treatment, Discretization to change in discrete values, Standard scaler, Min-Max scalar for feature scaling and, Random Forest (RF) for feature selection. For the classification Logistic Regression (LR), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest(RF) are used. To evaluate the performance of model accuracy, sensitivity, specificity are used. This study compares the model performance with and without preprocessed data and has proved that the selected preprocessing methods significantly improves the model performance.","PeriodicalId":396159,"journal":{"name":"ICACSE 2019: Proceedings","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124180178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
