In fact the hydrogen isotope plasmas produced in these devices attain temperature values ranging from about one to several keV. A great deal of information about the plasma conditions can be drawn, in particular, from the highly resolved spectra of medium-Z ions which are very rich in satellites excited via dielectronic recombination and innner shell excitation (Dubau and Volontè 1980, Bitter et al. 1979).","PeriodicalId":392991,"journal":{"name":"International Astronomical Union Colloquium","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115068386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the orbit (apogee: 240 000 km, perigee: 300 – 5000 km) the satellite spent most of the time in the interplanetary region where the influence of the earth’s gravitation field is negligible with regard to its effect on interplanetary dust particles.","PeriodicalId":392991,"journal":{"name":"International Astronomical Union Colloquium","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124507282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
