Financial uncertainty and loss of welfare sources triggered saving behaviors. Some people binged on media products offering anxiety-mitigating and therapeutic benefits. While such behaviors could decrease once the virus is eliminated and its stressors disappear, some routines could continue. Certain values affecting the nature and frequency of consumption could also change, thus increasing the speed of individual customers’ habit formation. To make accurate long-term strategic decisions without suffering losses, the restaurant sector and other businesses must adjust to new operational conditions by analyzing changing revenues and possible lasting effects of changing consumer behavior.","PeriodicalId":374381,"journal":{"name":"WGSRN: Psychological/Behavioral Approaches (Topic)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121115839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this minor research, we will read and analyze the novel written by Arundhati Roy namely, The God of Small Things (1997). At the end of this study, we will reveal the position of these issues and causes for the women’s issues and child abuse issues. The significance of this study is to create an awareness among the readers on the importance of rights and freedom of women and children in India. Informal business in rural area can help to meet this challenge. Keeping in view the importance of the research work on women empowerment, the present study aims to discuss aspects of psychological empowerment through informal business in Gondar, Ethiopia. Simple Random sampling technique was applied for the survey which included 71 informal business women found in two rural villages Aba-Samuel and Amedege of Azezo. In the study, descriptive statistics, Likert Scale and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. According to the result of the study, more than 50 percent of the rural women were married who belonged to the age group of below 35 years and most of the decisions on business were taken by the respondents themselves. The study revealed that rural women entrepreneurs wanted to migrate to towns to earn more income - Aba-Samuel (42.42 percent) and Amedege (44 percent). One way ANOVA was carried to study the level of significance among the type of women entrepreneurs and the challenges faced by them. Two challenges namely Paucity of funds and Lack of training was statistically significant. Post Hoc analysis using Tukey HSD test was carried out. Likert Scale was used to study the level of psychological empowerment among the respondents. The calculated Likert score was found to be lesser than the mid value hence it is inferred that the rural women entrepreneurs of the two villages have less psychological empowerment though they are economically empowered.","PeriodicalId":374381,"journal":{"name":"WGSRN: Psychological/Behavioral Approaches (Topic)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128870532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We examined the marital satisfaction of younger Korean women (in their 20s and 30s) and their older counterparts (in their 40s or older) (Person-N = 5,744), using panel data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. The results reveal that younger wives’ time spent on domestic labor is negatively associated with their satisfaction only when they do not hold traditional family attitudes. Younger women’s gender-role attitudes were not found to moderate the relationship between their husbands’ contribution to domestic labor and their satisfaction. For older women, no evidence was found for either interaction effect. We interpret the findings within the Korean context and draw theoretical implications.","PeriodicalId":374381,"journal":{"name":"WGSRN: Psychological/Behavioral Approaches (Topic)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114404278","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
