Torres","doi":"10.23854/AUTOC.V3I1.90","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.23854/AUTOC.V3I1.90","url":null,"abstract":"This research demonstrates the correlation between the following variables: self-employment, unemployment rate and the creation of micro-enterprises in the Maule region. Secondary sources were provided by the Instituto Nacional de Estadisticas and from companies whose data is stored with the Servicio de Impuestos Internos of Chile. The main purpose of this research, was to determine whether there are statistical correlations between the unemployment rate, self-employed jobs and the creation of micro-enterprises. According to the revised figures, in the Maule region, there is an inverse relationship between unemployment and self-employment, however the same cannot be said at the level disaggregated by city, nor in the relationship between self-employment and entrepreneurship.","PeriodicalId":371999,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía. The dramatic acts that occurred and its lasting consequences justify its past, current and future importance. From a social and cultural history of the war approach, this article proposes a critical interpretation of the historiography on the issue, focusing on the analysis of the perspectives and experiences of \"military combatants\" and \"revolutionary fighters\". As a hypothesis holds that although in those years the Argentine State and other States ignored the existence in the country of an \"internal war\", \"civil war\" or \"non-international war\", this does not inhibit the possibility of investigating situationally, in their own terms, senses and rationalities, the points of view of those who were considered to be protagonists of a specific form of \"war\" which was called \"revolutionary\", \"counterinsurgency\", \"popular prolonged\", \"of national liberation\". Based on archival research in the Cuban chancellery, this article demonstrates the passive influence and active steps taken by Cuba under the framework of the Non-Alignment, in order to control the presence of the Latin American group within the body of the organization. In this way, we demonstrate the concept of the Non-Alignment that was articulated by Cuba, and discuss the primacy of pragmatic or ideological criteria in the management of its foreign policy.","PeriodicalId":371999,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía. The analysis argues that this movement can be considered as an “event-rupture” that imposes a capital reflection on the universality and depth that distinguish this complex world revolution. {"title":"El discurso del Partido Comunista de Chile sobre la democracia, 1956-1964","authors":"Camilo Fernández","doi":"10.23854/AUTOC.V2I2.88","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.23854/AUTOC.V2I2.88","url":null,"abstract":"The article examines the discourse elaborated by the Communist Party of Chile regarding democracy and the problem of its participation in what they considered to be the institutions of bourgeois democracy. The period that ranges from 1956 to 1964 was crucial for the Communist because, after the failure of the Popular Front, they developed a new political guideline, the Frente de Liberacion Nacional (National Liberation Front) and adopted the pacific road to socialism as part of their strategy. It is argued that, thanks to these changes, the Communist Party was able to effectively integrate to its discourse some elements of representative democracy, even when they were alien to its Marxist theory.","PeriodicalId":371999,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía.
